Loverly village. The pub is cute and staff very welcoming. The steak was delicious. Room was nice with loverly views but could with a touch up. Overall all a great stay, well worth a romantic trip away.

The Accommodation (Milton Room) was excellent - nice touches (bathrobes, orange juice and a fridge!) and a very comfortable bed. Dinner in the Restaurant was very good and represented good VFM. Breakfast was served in the Restaurant and of equally high standard. Staff were all very welcoming and attentive - would definitely stay again when in the area. Rosie is...

What a wonderful find, The Black Horse is located in the countryside but well worth the find. I found the Staff were more than helpful, when I reviewed the property I could see the room were themed & quirky all that bit individual. When I requested a room with a bath I was accommodated the room had good quality bath...

Excellent all round for business and leisure. Accommodation clean and charming / characterful, food excellent, and staff great. Have stayed twice for business, and once for leisure, and thoroughly enjoyed all visits. Will book again.

We stayed only one night, occupying 2 rooms one twin, one double. The rooms we clean and very cosy with comfortable beds. The location was very peaceful during our stay. We were looking for a casual dining experience, the bar with its lovely open fire was perfect. The outstanding feature of our stay was the delicious food both at dinner...

We are long time customers to the restaurant and have recently moved to live nearby. The service and food has been excellent in the past. However, we visited the restaurant last Saturday and Sunday and were very disappointed with the service offered to us. Sunday was the worst of the two visits. We were shown to our table in the...

We stayed for just one night after finding the Inn via a review from the Guardian for one of the best 10 places to stay when visiting the Dales and we were not disappointed. It was lovely, a beautiful appointed room, we had the suite in the photos with the claw bath, just lovely. The staff were excellent, settling us...
