200 year old cob farmhouse. Delightfully original and a little quirky. Hosts v. hospitable. Breakfasts large and delicious but do tend to ruin the appetite! Lots of interest in the area. Altogether a highly recommended B&B.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 days away in Dorset, with Carol and Graham at Botany Farmhouse really making our break memorable. Botany is a very special place - beautiful, relaxing, full of charm and incredibly peaceful. However, it is Carol and Graham who elevate this wonderful B & B to another level. They are welcoming, thoughtful and...

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Botany Farmhouse and we loved it. We were not disappointed when we began to drive down the little lane towards the B&B. The cottage itself is lovely and the garden is the picture of English charm. Carol greeted us at the car and took us into the cottage. She made us tea...

We stayed at Botany Farm for 2 nights to attend a wedding at lulworth castle. Graham and Carol are wonderful hosts. The rooms are comfortable and homely and the breakfast was yummy! It's a beautiful period house in a very quiet setting but is well located for the Castle and beaches.

Botany B&B has a charm all of its own. It's colourful and full of character, and Carol and Graham are extremely friendly hosts. I photographed every breakfast (as well as enjoying eating them!), and the location was on the doorstep of lovely Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door, as well as the fascinating village of Tyneham, which is a must if...

Carol and Graham made us feel really welcome. A beautiful setting in the Dorset countryside. The breakfasts are sublime and it is quintessentially English. Carol made some super recommendations of where to eat and where to go during the day. We sat out in the garden amongst the hollyhocks. Nothing was to much trouble and they offered to light a...

Botany House is an absolute delight, both the property and the owners!! On arrival you really appreciate the quiet location and beautiful traditional gardens. The house itself is very farmhouse and 'Alice in Wonderland' with low ceilings, log fire in the lounge and traditional flowery style décor in the bedrooms. The main thing I will remember is the hospitality of...

We had the most wonderful stay here! The house is set in the most stunning gardens, which are clearly the work of passion and great dedication. Carol and Graham were wonderful hosts- so friendly and accommodating, with excellent tips of the surrounding area. The house itself was charming and very comfortable, with the added benefit of a private living room...

We stayed at the farmhouse in winter, and loved the quaint little house with DELICIOUS breakfasts and the cosy roaring fire in the living room. We had our baby girl with us who was ill at night, and the hosts were kind enough to drive out and buy us medicines from the next village, we were so grateful for their...

“There is no swimming pool - I clicked that in error - but I'm sure it would be excellent as well. Staying in either room is awesome.”
  • The en-suite shower room - with electric shower.
  • The fabulously comfy bed - made by me - they do a much better job than I do.
