At first glance rooms look spacious and good. If you look better you see the dripping water pipes, mildew, dirty walls that are in need of a paint, noisy AC, etc. There is no care of the rooms, no love in even the smallest decoration or attentions. Just straigth on, basic. Ok for one night.

A return visit after about 5 years - the hotel has been well maintained and updated. The ladies on reception were friendly and efficient. The only problems were slightly smelly bathroom and the air conditioner struggled with the size of the room- would definitely stay again though.

This hotel could be anywhere in the world. It's clean, comfortable, reasonably priced but once you are inside, there is really nothing to remind you that you are in beautifull Koh Kong. This hotel might just as well be in China or Spain or the US and is has no flair or soul. Its a good choice if you are looking for a comfortable and clean room and want to go for 'safe but boring'.

The staff, while not being unfriendly, was very indifferent and the least friendly we experienced during our 3 weeks stay in cambodia.

This hotel has a great location on the street that runs along the river. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. The restaurant on the ground floor is probably the best one in town and it has both Cambodian and Western food. The staff were all nice and helpful. When we needed ice for our water bottle, they would get us a bag of it from the restaurant. At the end of our trip, we tried to find drivers to take us back to Siem Reap but were being quoted exorbitant rates (some were claiming the high rates were due to the Khmer New Years which didn't actually start until the end of the next week). The staff at the front desk found and booked us taxi drivers with reasonable rates. Finally, I read some review that said it was very noisy at night. We had asked about that before booking and were told it is normally very quiet except for some holidays. It was indeed quiet every night we stayed.

I booked 3 Rooms, One of those rooms Special RQ for Weeding Anniversary and the booking.com confirmed as Hotel will arrange for no extra charge, we don't care about extra charge as we feeling to pay extra but when we C/I the staff said they didn't arrange nothing. Really Really Disappoint.
On C/O day I forgot One T-Shirt Original in Bathroom and I come back to take it and Reception called to asked Room attendant said she found it. But they not placed it Lost and Found Reception Counter. And the Reception told me can come back take it latter as they will call me but they never call me until I go back to take it night again as they said busy but not true.

Disappointed!
1. The price rose unreasonably during the special days.
2. The beds are too small.
3. The room is not sound proof as I could hear people talking in their when I was outside.
4. Receptionists didn't not handle their work properly.
5. Not extra facilities (blanket) were provided even though I paid extra.
6. WiFi was also slow. I barely checked anything.

I've stayed in numerous places in Koh Kong over the years, and I reckon this is pound for pound the best of them. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and modern. There's a comfy bed, tv, water, toiletries, a sofa, table; plus a good size bathroom. The negative is the Wi-Fi. The staff always say "Oh there's a problem with the company" Maybe there is, but it's always the same. Very rarely works in the day, usually comes on in the evenings. I'm not complaining. Just grab yourself a Metfone SIM for a dollar. Then get yourself 2GB for another 3 dollars. Easy to do. It's all automated. Press 2 for English. Then follow the instructions.

I've stayed numerous times over the years, and always gave it a 5 star review. Everything is starting to look a bit dated, including the aircon which was pretty awful if I'm honest. On the plus side after 7 years they've finally sorted the Wi-Fi out. I checked in and she handed me a key. She then asked the cleaner in Cambodian what was the room where the last guest had been smoking. She then took the key back off me and handed me another. So I told her in Cambodian that I wanted a no smoking room. At which point she returned the first key to me. I thought that was a bit off.

On arrival we booked the 20 dollar balcony room. On first sight the room looked 'oke' clean despite a few bugs.. However at night we descovered BEDBUGS.. The worst thing is that the hotel was aware of the fact that there were bedbugs in the room and put us in there anyway.. It was already to late to switch hotels so we switched to a room which after inspection seemed bedbugs free. When we spoke to the manager in the morning and expressed our dissatisfaction and concerns (we might have bedbugs in our backpack now) she didn't show any compassion and we still had to fully pay for the room.

I am sure the bedbug problem won't be solved so I would strongly recommend to stay at another hotel.

I stayed there a couple of weeks back @ $25 per night. There wad two old rattan chair and a old rattan table with old glass top. My three year old son accidently struck the table, the glass top came off nearly injuring my son and cracked through the middle. The glass top was not secured on the table, which was old and rickety. The hotel charged me $25 for the broken glass top. That was not fair.
