Location is nice, staff is friendly, but the Air Conditioning did not work in our room and to add insult to injury, the smell and fumes from the kitchen fill the whole space. So do not be fooled by nice photos and stay away from this hotel. Room was dusty and furniture old. not a comfortable arrangement at all. Sorry!

Thank you for your kind review about our great location and the friendly service we offer. We respect all the observations, there are important and we thank them to be able to improve our service, although honestly we consider it is no neccesary to bring an AC and a Gas mask because both the air conditioning and the cleaning of...

Sacristia is a very small, very old and very friendly hotel situated in the trendy part of downtown Puebla. Painted mexican pink and full of wonderful antiques (all for sale by the way) it is fun and funky. Great food and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. A great location to explore the many museums and restaurants that Puebla has to...

This hotel is quite different from others. A simple exterior belies the antiques for sale, the attractive restaurant and quirky rooms that open on to this exotic courtyard. Staff were helpful especially with bags up the stairs to the room. My only caution would be to those contemplating staying, if you are a very broad person, especially those with a...

We have stayed in a lot of hotels around Mexico, and this one is delightful. A colonial house adapted as a hotel, the room we had featured 20 foot ceilings, a canopy bed, a sitting area with antique couch, two chairs and a coffee table, an antique wardrobe, a dresser, a couple other antique pieces and it wasn't crowded. Oh,...

Apart from being very pink ... room was very nice - spacious and well appointed! Breakfast was good. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from the main square in a nice neighbourhood so it is very convenient. I don't think there is parking but there are carparks nearby.

Seeing all the authentic fixtures and accessories made me feel as I was living in the 1800's. Quaint and clean rooms. It sits very close to the Central Park (Zocalo) which made it convenient for us to take tours and just sit and relax at the cafes. Puebla is a must for the dreamer traveler.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. It's in a very old building, overflowing with extremely kitsch antiques, some of which are for sale if you could manage to get them home! The room was fantastic - we stayed in a junior suite and it was large and comfortable with a big bed, sofa, writing desk etc....

In this most historic and charming of Mexican cities, the hotel fits well. The rooms take the character of the building itself, not always efficient, but whimsical. The food is good enough, and the garden tables are inviting. The hotel is convenient to all of the top sites in town. There's good night life in the area, which can make...

We stayed at Sacristia twice in December, in two different rooms. The 8 rooms are located in a building hundreds of years old, and many of the original details are still visible. One of our rooms had 18-foot high ceilings, a 7-foot brick archway separating the bedroom (king bed) from the sitting room (couch, desk, TV), ancient wooden doors at...

I stayed here with my husband when we were in Puebla. Unfortunately it was only for one night but how I wish it had been longer. Everything that has already been written about location, ambiance, price and service is true. Staff is friendly and helpful and our room "Incensario" was gorgeous.
