They offer free continental breakfast but it is so skimpy that it forces you to buy a breakfast. The Sunday morning server was so grumpy and sour. I asked for milk instead of the powder creamer for my coffee and I was told I would be charged for it. The cereal had mainly milk. The pipes knock and squeal when...

Every noise from this hotel echoes throughout and the walls are paper thin. It's impossible to sleep. Right now the bathrooms are being remodeled, making it that much worse. Rooms along the front of the building are unbearably hot during the day, so it's lovely that they're also so disgusting that you wouldn't want to be in them anyway. WiFi...

We were booked in here as part of a tour. There was no hot water in the room, though this was fixed after enquires were made. The toilet did not flush properly. The instructions to use the safe were incorrect. The internet only worked if you sat at the hotel room door and sometime not at all. They outright refused...

The rooms were so noisy it was like the walls were made of paper. You could hear every word from the room next door and the noise from the restaurant and traffic outside. The bathroom was horrendous. The shower was hardly with using and the toilet functionality was intermittent at best. Stay somewhere else.

This hotel is in a good location and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bathroom was weird though. Firstly, the sink and mirror weren't in the bathroom, they were in the room itself. The sink itself had been broken at some point in the past and the hotel has fixed it with a ton of sealant. Whilst this seemed...

Having read previous reviews, we were expecting the worst from this hotel. However, whilst the bathrooms definitely need upgrading, there was plentiful hot water. The staff were helpful. The bedding was clean and changed daily. We did not eat here so can't comment on the food. So overall, the place could do with a makeover but it's ok.

Visited Hotel San Angel as part of a group tour in October 2015. Rooms are nice and clean, perfect for people who are looking for a basic but safe place to stay. Good location close to town which made it easy to walk around and avoid having to take transport. Only downsides were the temperamental wifi, which only worked in...

The common areas are very attractive, and that is where the wifi is. The rooms are small and have no air circulation. Drinking water is available. It is time to update the bathrooms again. Points of interest and markets are within walking distance.

Nice building centrally located but is very run down. Has nice layout with good common areas to relax in. Rooms have a safe in the wardrobe. Avenue 4 runs past the front of the hotel with loud traffic going past 24/7, there is no air conditioning or fan so you can either be too hot or have it too loud...

We stayed at Hotel San Angel whilst on a an Intrepid tour. This was the worst hotel which we stayed at all tour. We had a double room which was very small (on the 3rd floor) and facing the main road. There was a small balcony, but the sliding door didn't work very well so we avoided opening it after...
