Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'd expect to pay maybe half the price for a place like this that wasn't in the center of the tourist zone. The room was plain, the continental breakfast was basic, and there was no lobby to speak of. On the good side, the woman at reception (the owner?) was friendly and helpful, the hot water was HOT, and the Wifi was fast. Booking.com said there was heating, but my room (14) didn't have it. Luckily, the room was interior with no outside window, so it stayed warmer than it might have if exposed to the freezing nighttime air.

The owners was very welcoming and helpful, in fact all the staff were friendly. Our room on the op floor was exceptionally spacious, with a huge, comfort bed. Shower was powerful and the heating was very welcome in the cold Zacatecas nights. The simple breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Great location, minutes from the cathedral most other sights. A 10 -15 min walk to the amazing Museo Rafael Coranel. Zacatecas is a fantastic city in which to spend a few days and I really don’t understand why it doesn’t get more foreign visitors.

We like our room. It was clean, and quiet. The reception was quite friendly and the service was efficient. Our location was quite good as we could walk to all major 5 museums in this Los colonial gem of a town. Zacatecas is unspoiled by tourism and an excellent destination.

Nice, clean rooms with comfy beds. Breakfast and parking included, although the parking lot is a couple of blocks away. The top floor patio is nice and they even have a little kitchen and lent us wine glasses to have a drink on the patio. I would recommend it. The wifi was super fast and had a good signal.

this a small hotel, in downtown Zacatecas, beautiful place, clean and with modern installations, I loved the small balcony and the beautiful scenic view from it. and is at really good price. The only inconvenient is that it don't have elevator service so be ready to use the stairs.

I found this to be one of the best hotels so far in Mexico. It's clean, comfortable and has a free breakfast. Everything works and has good wifi free. The beds are comfortable and have decent linen and towels which seems to be rare in Mexico. The bedrooms facing the street are noisy but since I always earplugs it was not a problem. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is in the old part of town walking distance to many famous spots like the cathedral

The hotel is very well located, a few blocks from Ave Hidalgo. The staff is very friendly. As we arrive we asked for a recomendation to have lunch. The front desk lady phoned to the place and made reservations for us. The hotel also arranged a tour to "la Quemada" (don't miss it!) When we leave we asked for a taxi in advance to be at certain time in the hotel. The room is spacious, with good wifi, a big king size bed, nice tv and A/C and heater. Very safe area.I will come back again.

I did not have any expectations about this place, but it delivered nicely! Pros: -Location is good. -Rooms were great, modern and everything you would expect. -Staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us advise about places to eat, cabs to take and their cost, hairdressing place for my girlfriend, etc. Cons: -Parking lot is far way, a few blocks walking and it closes at 10 pm. So I had to use a cab instead of my own car because I was attending an event after 10 pm. -Noise! I was in the third floor and I was able to hear everything from the lobby and the other rooms even with all the windows closed. I realize the issue actually was the other guests making the noise, but still it's very annoying specially at midnight. I would've given an excellent rating if it wasn't for these two points. Average: -Don't rely on the offered breakfast, it's essentially cereal, milk, coffee, tea, bread and some fruits. It's a nice touch, though.

There are a ouple of good hings about this hotel: the balcony to relax in the night and the location (you park the car and from the Hotel you can walk to the center and all he city). For the rest, be carefull the breakfast is not Continental like they say because you will have only a small type of thinghs to eat (cereals, coffe, milk, banana, bread and a couple of other tings) so if you stay here you will have to buy something more to eat. Also another bad thing is the cleaning, they deliver the room full of hairs in the floor and it was necessary to ask and them to repeat the clean 3 times until they clean it (and not to a good status). Also, don't sleep in the reception floor, the street noise will ensure that you can't sleep right (as for rooms in the second or third floor - is better to climb the stair then not to sleep at night)

The tried to make us pay more than what the rate of the room was. The lady had a terrible attitude, telling us that she was going to take the money we had already paid without letting us stay in the hotel, when we finally got the room it was horribly noisy. The room was nicely decorated and confortable, but the service in general was awful. Don't choose this hotel unless you want to deal with rude people!!!
