In the historic center of Morelia, opposite the Plaza de Armas, is the "Hotel Virrey de Mendoza", considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city dating back to 1744. Yes, there is street noise but that is Morelia. The positive is this is a stunningly beautiful and elegant hotel right on the Zocalo. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and there is a nice restaurant for breakfast. Everything is spotless....More

This is a superb boutique hotel in the main square of Morelia. The area is steeped in history and the back streets are full of traditional Mexican restaurants and bars. A must for ant visitor to Mexico

I am almost certain if you stay at the hotel, then the parking should be free and you only need to consider the tip.
