Stayed with my family for a couple of nights. I was really surprised by the high standards of the room and would certainly recommend a deluxe double. Lovely beach and a quick trip by car to the other beaches in Salcombe. Will definitely be back with the dog next time as I was very surprised how dog friendly the area...

Visited with relatives for lunch. Quite spacious with plenty of space outside on the upper deck which overlooks the small cove and one of the beaches in the village. Ordered from a wide range of meals offered on the menu which included fish dishes and local catch of the day. They do offer gluten free meals too. Food was superb...

The staff here our always brilliant, cheerful, friendly and attentive. Food usually faultless. The plaice daily special and cod and chips were much enjoyed. On this occasion my daughter's chowder contained little fish but a lot of potato which was not indicated on the menu. The complaint was well dealt with and the bill adjusted.

Well, we called in here on our walk from Bantham to Hope Cove and had a spot of lunch, it's was fab! A wonderful place to sit and soak up the sun on their huge decking with a lovely pint of Korev. We both had a main course, mine was fish and chips with garden peas, the batter was probably...

We stayed in Inner Hope and was so lucky there were so many good eating establishments. We visited the Hope and Anchor a few times and although we would normally have been put off by the shear size and so many covers, inside and out, we found a lovely smaller dinning room upstairs. It was very busy but the staff...

Had a lovely relaxing mini break here recently. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very spacious with a lovely window seat to enjoy the sea view. Excellent breakfast and all the staff work very hard to make your stay a good one. Only complaint, but it wouldnt put me off going again, if you want a sea view...

Did the Bolberry Walk and then stopped here for lunch. Great food, nice local beers, colouring and bit for the kids, dog friendly. Could not recommend it enough. Well worth the stop! Sat outside on the terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We sat outside upstairs on the deck with two hounds, and enjoyed an excellent lunch. Good variety of menu where our group had a baguette, fish finger sandwich, the " best mushroom risotto I have ever had", and a superb goats cheese and beetroot salad with pomegranate and pistachios. Oink oink! Bit windy outside so stuff was blowing about... Service...

Visited for lunch, staff so friendly and welcoming, food fantastic, only problem was I had to leave some. We sat looking out to sea eating our lunch. Two main courses, two desserts, two drinks, thirty pounds, and a great view.
