Stayed just for a night before leaving baja. Comfortable beds, great host, cute room with mini fridge, and close to the beach as well (lovely, very clean, but more of a surfing beach...strong waves and undertow). You can tell they really care about the property and your stay. There is a supermarket across the street, and a delicious organic restaurant...

Marisol is quiet and lovely boutique hotel in convenient location to visit San Jose del Cabo. Room was very comfortable with small balcony where could see ocean in distance. King size bed comfy; parking right outside. Marisol gave us several tips on local restaurants which proved to be excellent. We speak fluent Spanish and like to visit places where the...

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Marisol Hotel on either end of our trip to Baja California Sur. Just like the other reviews stated it was quite a nice experience. The Hotel is a very short walk to the beach just at the end of the hotel district. Right down the street are several tall resort hotels...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Marisol Boutique Hotel during our recent visit to Baja. The staff were very friendly and helpful in everything and even though we didn't always speak their language we always managed to communicate. They supplied fresh filtered water for drinking, umbrellas, towells and beach chairs for the beach. The rooms were...

What bad thing can you say about a hotel, when your cab pulls up 3 hours after your planned check in time, and one of the owners comes out to greet your entire family by name. Rooms are fairly spacious and the hotel is clean and well kept. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were....

We stayed at the Marisol Hotel for four nights and were very comfortable there. The rooms are spacious -- we love the high ceiling -- and it's in a great location -- near the beach and Mega store. Marisol was very accommodating to our needs. For instance, she immediately swapped out a malfunctioning refrigerator with one that worked, and she...

We loved everything about this beautiful small hotel (8 rooms all on one level). It's very clean, has super comfortable beds, ocean view deck and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful clean beach. We loved our 14 days there!

I stayed in Marisol for 3 days of my 6 day stay in San Jose del Cabo. The first 3 days I stayed in the old part where all the souvenir shops, restaurants, and the Thursday Art Exposition take place on the Main Plaza. This is the noisy part. For the remaining 3 days I had planned to be in...

The title describes what we were looking for and the Marisol provides all these qualities beautifully. Hotels often have flashy amenities, exclusive locations or some other draw. The Marisol Boutique Hotel has none of that, and doesn't need it. What it does, it excels at. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a 2 block walk to the beach. The customer service (Marisol!) is incredible. We booked a hotel...
