We chose to stay at the Bahia because of its proximity to the beach and marina. We were happy to have a short walk to each and only purchased two cab rides during our ten day stay. At night, however, you can expect to hear sirens, street noise, and people returning from the clubs. The sound in the hallway echoed...

Thank you for your review. We do have two types of rooms and will be renovating more rooms this summer. Many of our guests paddle board, fish,ATV,surf or golf to name a few but fishing is a big one and there is nothing like eating what you caught. The beach club has just so many chairs and is very popular so...

We stayed at the Bahia Hotel for NYE 2016 for four nights. If you're not a big fan of staying at resorts, the Bahia Hotel is the best alternative. Just a two minute walk to the beach, with always hospitable and friendly staff, a wonderful decor, amazing restaurant downstairs (Bar Esquina), a coffee shop that makes yummy coffee and smoothies,...

Thank you for your review and nice to hear you will be coming back. Our guests typically and not fans of the big resorts and apreciate our staff knowing there name and remebering what they like to drink. The Mexican culture is a very friendly and hard working so the staff creates a wonderful vibe in the hotel. We dont...

We stayed at the hotel for our NYE trip and it was great. Regarding the location, I knew ahead of time that this was not right on the beach like some of the other hotels, so I was not disappointed. From some of the reviews, I actually expected it to be a further walk from the beach. (It is a...

Thank you for your review and happy new year! We only have a certain number of loung chairs so yes it is best to reserve ahead of time just like Bar Esquina the on site restraunt in the Bahia. The bi lingual staff helps aleviate any confusion and enhances the guest experience. Nice to hear you will be back as...

Thank you for your review. WE are actually the first hotel built in the Medano beach area which purchased in 2007 and renovated creating Bar Esquina and the Sur beach house. The walk to everywhere location is a big plus and guests find it very easy and relaxing See you on your next trip.

First thing-- the website for the Bahia has lots of pictures for SUR, their sister beachfront restaurant, and the website makes it seem like the two are connected and that Bahia customers will be able to walk into SUR and have a place to sit. This is not the case. The SUR was crowded, and we had a hard time...

It's a beautiful resort, definitely on the smaller side. Rooms were very basic but the beds were so comfortable!!! They give you plenty of nice pillows per person which is rare for hotels or resorts. Nice feather comforters. I was impressed with the bedding. The rooms were fairly noisy though. I didn't like how you could hear everyone outside, upstairs...

We are coming to Cabo on January 22 for my birthday. This is our first trip to Cabo as we have been unable to travel due to aging parents and the cost of taking care of them. So we decided to to try the Bahia based on the fantastic reviews. After saving all year for this trip we were able...

Have stayed at the Bahia four consecutive years for Feliz Navidad. Five minute walk to Medano Beach with an outstanding bar, restaurant and bakery (Bar Esquina) on premises. Friendly staff, improved wifi. Smallish pool is mostly shaded until late afternoon in December. TV is ridiculous. Only CRTs in most room. Worse is the Mexican cable. Only 5 or 6 English...

Thank you for your review. We love repeat guests and sorry about the room mix up. With a sold out hotel we had no flexibility to move you. As you mentioned we have not changed the in house T.V. system. As the room renovations are complete we will address the in house media and T.V. package. See you next year!

It is a small hotel service you can expect. The front desk people were not at all helpful. They charged us for every small damn thing. Thank you for your review. I am not sure about the front desk comment as they are generally very helpful and our guests generally raze about them. Stayed 6 days/5 nites. Set your expectations at Holiday Inn level, not luxury. Great location, spotlessly clean and safe, but spartan in furnishings and amenities (no blow dryer or in-room safe). In-room kitchen is very dated. Restaurant staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Coffee bar was terrific and open early. Laura in housekeeping was exceptional. But, front desk staff...

Thank ou for your review. The concierge desk is open from 9 to 5 daily and the front desk can help as well. With the hotel sold out we apologize if they were busy helping others. The tip of other great places in the area is good advice and guests can walk to everything.
