Wow. What a wonderful experience. The details on the entire property were immediately noticed when we walked through the arched iron doors. We stayed in the standard room which was very nicely appointed. The shower was just great! I've been to many "up-scale" hotels and...More

I agree with everything that Courtney M. stated. The in town experience is much different from a resort. You truly experience the culture rather than the tourist trap type places. One idea would be to take a cab to Billigan's. It is an ocean front restaurant with plenty of beach, covered chairs if you desire one and lots of local vendors selling their goods. You can even get a massage under a lovely umbrella! It is a bit of a walk to get there but would highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a place to hangout on the beach to have a few drinks. Billigan's employees also give you beach service and you never have to enter the "bar" or restaurant if you choose not to.
