Been visiting Siesta Suites for almost 30 years...awesome location, clean, awesome staff and affordable. Stay here, visit the beaches and don’t forget a fantastic meal at Salvatore’s in the hotel courtyard!
I accidentally stumbled across this beautiful boutique hotel during a 4 month staycation in Cabo San Lucas last November - February. This place started off as my "in between" planning spot while bouncing back and forth from luxury resorts up and down the Baja. Stayed here 5 or 6 times during my visit, and every time was an absolute pleasure. The rooms have a relaxed, cozy charm and were immaculately clean every time, and the staff was the most hospitable I encountered my entire trip. I was taken in and treated as family by the hotel owners and their family who just happened to be in town visiting during one of my stays. As far as location goes, you could not ask for better in town at any price; literally a block from the marina and dozens of great restaurants and an enjoyable 10 minute walk to Medano Beach. It's right around the corner from Cabo Wabo Cantina, and shares the property with what became my favorite restaurant in town, Salvatore G's which only adds to the ambience of this fantastic hotel. There is also a nice, comfortable rooftop terrace with a bar that overlooks the restaurant. Siesta Suites is the best place I have found when trying to avoid all the chaos that comes with staying at big resorts during peak season. It's my new home away from Colorado while staying in Cabo.…
I am just completing a two-week stay with Siesta Suites, and IT. WAS. STELLAR. I stayed at a big all-inclusive resort with my husband last October, but on this visit I was solo, since he’s not a diver, and I wanted a big underwater trip for my 40th birthday. I’m so happy I chose Suesta Suites over the big resort. It’s in the perfect location to walk to everything, including just 3 minutes to Cabo Private Guide (most definitely book any kind of dive or snorkel trips with them). Easy walk to the marina or anywhere in downtown. Having Salvatore’s right next door not only made for great meals, it also made me feel very safe as the room entries face the restaurant courtyard and there’s pretty much always someone over there working. The staff, without exception, are friendly and helpful. My suite was kept spotlessly clean and was so perfect for my needs; super-comfy bed, kitchenette; separate sitting area...such a great little gem at a great value. Speaking of that, be sure to contact them directly to get their best rate; you will most definitely get the same or even a better price than at any of the travel booking sites, and you will be directly supporting a small family-run business. I will definitely stay here again for my next trip this October! PS- They even arranged for me to have my pre-departure covid test right in my room—so simple!…
I have stayed at Siesta Suites five times in the last six years and I have received nothing but exceptional service while staying there. I typically stay there about a week at a time. The rooms come with all the amenities I need. It comes with a full-size refrigerator about 17-18 Cu. Ft., microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and a set of dishes for two with utensil and wine glasses along with drinking glasses. The room also has a sink to clean the dishes if needed. The Owners Nancy and Alex are very courteous and accommodating especially during this crazy time with the virus. My trip was originally scheduled for the beginning of May until all things were cancelled, they were immensely helpful in all the changes that had to be made. They made it a breeze to reschedule everything when I finally arrived there this July. The staff there is also great and always very willing to assist anyway they can. I highly recommend any one coming to Cabo to stay at Siesta Suites it is centrally located in the town and walking distance to the beach which I will usually go to everyday. If you want a good Italian meal Salvatore G's is literally a step out of your room if you are on the first floor, but if you go there, go hungry and on an empty stomach. Their portion sizes are very big and I have yet to get through one. Also, they are very reasonably priced. If you go there and have left overs that is where the refrigerator and microwave come in great and the dishes and utensils supplied in the room. I cannot recommend them enough, but I would be dismissed if I didn’t mention on thing. They have a cat named Mama that roams the premises and doesn’t bother anyone though she is getting older and I give her treats so she will come to my room. With her there if you like cats she will make you feel at home and on the chance you don’t like cats she won’t bother you.…
This little boutique hotel is a great alternative to a big resort. The rooms are cozy, the beds comfortable, and the people are delightful. A block from the harbor, surrounded by restaurants and shopping, and walking distance to the beach, the location is perfect. The owners and manager are lovely. They offered us tips on things to do and how to get around, and they connected us to a whale watching excursion. We stayed there the week of Christmas, and had Christmas Eve dinner on the patio of the fantastic Italian restaurant adjacent property. One of our favorite evenings in Cabo included having drinks with Waldo and other guests on the hotel’s second floor patio.
