On a recent trip along the northern coast we stayed 2 nights at The Tiing Villas. The Villas are located on the eastern edge of Tejakula Village itself.

You just have to relax here ....

The Villas have received architectural acknowledgement/awards. They are interesting indeed, but for us the spectacular ocean views and the staff were the absolute highlights of our stay.

The villas actually have two aspects. The first floor villas have a northern (?) aspect with ocean views overlooking the main pool from the small plunge pool, whilst from the second floor villas the views from the pool would look out over the mountains to the south. Our second floor villa also benefited from the almost constant ocean breezes which filled our lounge.

Our villa was completed by a double bedroom serviced by an internal and an external bathroom. Our bed was huge and comfortable. The internal bathroom was essentially a shower with a vanity. Whilst looking great there was a definite impracticability to the design as having wet the floor in showering you were then faced with a wet floor to use the vanity. Obviously the solution was to use the external shower, except it only provided cold water? We used the external bath which had a great shower extension.

The bedroom had aircon which was on both nights. The lounge is service by a stylish ceiling fan which was essential.

The villa had only one mirror (in the bathroom) and females would appreciate a full length mirror (perhaps on the wall in the passage from the bedroom into the lounge). Whilst the bed was accompanied by stylish reading lights ours were ineffective due to being too low.

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as sundowners in the on-site restaurant each day of our stay and always had good experiences. However if our stay had been longer, (earlier) comments regarding variety might have become relevant. Nightly specials would overcome this aspect.

The main pool is quite large and being tiled red is a little quirky. There were ample lounges available during our stay.

We had an interesting walk through a local village to Les Waterfall. As we were a tad warm on return the plunge pool was very much appreciated!

The property does have an on-site dive shop and spa but during our stay the shop was not opened. The staff did say that you could snorkel off shore from the property?

As stated earlier the staff, from Putu and Oki (front desk) through to the porters, gardeners and all the restaurant staff were most pleasant and obliging, really made our stay. Thank you to all!

Start from making reservations until check out everything was amazing. The reservation team was attentive, the staff who escorted us to the room was very kind and friendly.

The room was perfect, only small defect. The wash sink was clogged and the view from ocean view room was distracted by the lemongrass plant in from of our room. It was not up to our expectations. Other than that everything was good.

Hopefully next stay we will got better room.

It seems like a new build thus it’s nice. The employees are all friendly. At the moment they have a good staycation deals.

We booked 2 rooms. An ocean room view and An ocean & mountain view room.

Still need improvements on certain aspects.
1. The plunge pool on the mountain view room was green mossy.
2. Ants all over the room on the mountain view room. Was on the wall & wall on the front terrace, mini bar area, bathroom area.
3. Stains on the bed cover from the ocean & mountain view.
4. While we are enjoying our afternoon tea time we noticed burning smoke & went into our room, so we have to closed the glass door.
5. Price for the beer was written Rp.30.000,- ++ and got charged Rp.35.000,- ++ it’s not about the Rp.5.000,- extra but more like lack off informative from the staff to the us as i did ask prior ordering it. The excuse from the staff “forget” to changes the PL.
6. The chandelier on the living room on Mountain view room (08) was not properly installed, one of the bolt was not attached to the ceiling.
7. Last but most important, the entrance door for the room doesn’t have a lock. A stranger went walk into our room (08) while we are resting in our bed, took us by surprise someone just burst in like that.

ps: you’ll be lucky if you’re staying when there’s no big group like when we did, was 6/7 guys staying next door and they were pretty loud, talking & walking wise.

I am planning to visit again on December 2020, hopefully by then everything will be fixed & i’ll update the reviews accordingly.

Thank you.

Located right at the beachfront in the middle of fisherman village, this one of a kind Villa is like a lost treasure,

The Design of the complex is unique and chic
If you choose the 2nd floor villa,
The front would face the beach while the back(the plunge pool) has a view into the village and mountain.

The restaurant served a perfect grilled fish however the fried rice was just a tad too salty and the serving time is just too long (maybe because of the covid situation )

Staffs were nice and quick to respond to our request.

My only complaint was that they need more attention when preparing the room because we received a boiling kettle that was filled with leftovers lemongrass from previous guest.

Remote place, good for relaxed. Friendly staff, good food. Room is clean. I enjoy stay here just to hide out from crowd. We can enjoy fresh seafood. Enjoying afternoon on beach while we wait for fisherman to come, order fresh fish and ask for to staff to process it.

This luxury boutique hotel is just the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the south of Bali. Beautifully decorated villas with private plunge pools look out to the ocean and the amazing red swimming pool with its comfortable lounge furniture surrounding it.

I had an amazing massage to the sound of the ocean and a delicious fresh fish dinner afterwards at the hotel restaurant.

The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I had the best sleep ever.
I will definitely come back to this heaven in the north of Bali.

This property is stunning and is well worth the drive to get to. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, in particular Lee in the restaurant who took very good care of us. The property is clean and well maintained. It would be nice to have a few more fresher food options on the menu but maybe it was limited due to Covid.

We stayed in this place over the Christmas time and absolutely loved it. It is perfect for couples and they are also pet friendly.

Good to keep in mind that the hotel is located further away from the shops, so there is nothing really in the area but this is the beauty of it. Instead of the shops you are surrounded by the beautiful untouched nature. Our villa was just 200 m away from the beach and you can see the horizon from your bedroom. We also had a small private pool and there is a big common pool for all the guests. The water is warm and comfortable to swim in.

Also a special thank you to the staff. They are very friendly and attentive. Basically they surround you with love and care for the whole duration of your stay. Amazing!

It is not my villa biit the beautiful rooms only connect outside so for little kids it could be an issue. My 10 and 12 year ild stayed downstairs and my wife and i upstairs...out door space was the common space and it was great even at night
