Our visit to Malin Head was not originally part of our planned itinerary. However, our Tory Island visit was cut short due to weather. We were able to get a reservation on one day's notice at the Seaview Tavern. What a great choice. The room above the Tavern was big by European standards and immaculate. Our view was of the...

This is a great option if you're exploring the very northerly tip of Ireland. It's not (as some have said) the most northerly bar in Ireland as there's one a mile or so further on: to settle the argument it now calls itself the most northerly LOUNGE bar in Ireland. In fact the bar is a little bland but there...

We stayed at the Seaview Tavern recommended by Buncrana Tourist Office and it was just what we needed. We had a family room, 2+2 b&b at a great cost of 90euro.The evening meal was a steak burger with side of your choice for 9.50euro. Very good value for money and a super place to stay at Ireland's most northerly tip....

The location is superb and the room clean and comfortable. No complaints. Loved the bar and the people. We stayed on a Saturday night. If you go to bed early and are bothered by noise this may not be the place for you on a Saturday night. It is likely more sedate during the week. It didn't bother us one...

Stayed at Seaview Tavern. Didn't know where to book in on arrival, only for a young female waitress we'd still be wandering about. ROOM was lovely, very spacious. Still unsure what the small device was sitting on top of the TV, it was plugged into the back of the TV? Room clean enough though the pictures in the room could...

My sister, cousins, and I came to the tavern after visiting the windy vistas of Malin head. We had a nice lunch. I had a hamburger that was better than any I had had in the past months. My girls had tea and Irish Coffee and chips. We loved our time in Malin head and the Seaview Tavern.

Clean room with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with heated towel racks, and an excellent bar and restaurant on the first floor. Excellent mussels! The bar stocks craft beer from Bog Hopper (crafted in Muff). Both the Hairy Bullocks APA and the Dirty Chick Pilsner were excellent. The clientele made us Americans feel right at home and happily explained what...
