I stayed here for three days over Easter. Mary runs the best B and B I have stayed in anywhere. The welcome is genuine and friendly without being intrusive. You can get good advice on where to visit in the locality and Mary has a wealth of literature available to browse. The room was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean with...

Returned home today after spending a sunshine filled 3 days at the Whitestrand B&B. This extremely comfortable b&b is run by Mary Houghton who greeted us on our arrival with mugs of tea and yummy scones and cake. Nothing is too much trouble for Mary, even though there are facilities to make our own hot drinks every night after our...

Stayed here around Easter time for the second year running; this year to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday. We were a large group with a massive age span, from 23 to 90, and all were accommodated perfectly in this lovely B&B. In this part of Donegal I gather Mary's hospitality, and especially her breakfasts, are legendary and this is well...

Stayed at gortnamullan cottage which is part of this B&B establishment. Spacious, clean, 3 toilets and showers so enough if you take large group. Mary the owner was welcoming and friendly. We had a issue with tv signal. Mary was there in jig time. She had to call out an engineer as there was issue with satellite dish. All done...

This is the second time I have stayed here and it remains the best b and b I have stayed in. From the welcome with tea and coffee and home made cakes, the spotlessly clean accommodation and the nothing is too much trouble attitude of the owner it is a great experience. Situated 5 minutes walk from the sea with...

This was one of my favourite places to stay! The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the Hostess was so friendly and explained everything to us in Detail! She reccommended interesting Things to do! Beware of the gale force though, it can get loud in the room due to the strong winds!

Mary welcomed us on a cold and rainy night with a basket of scones and muffins and a pot of coffee which was much appreciated. We had a large, clean and modern room. She even made us pancakes for breakfast as we were tired of the usual. Many outlets for our phones, pads, etc.

What a spot!!! Malin Head is very remote but so incredibly beautiful! Definitely worth the drive! Mary was so warm and welcoming! We had the family room which would be perfect for a family with children! The room was impeccably clean and very nice! There were gorgeous views from the window. Mary gave us a map along with clues on...

We spent my 60th birthday here. I booked this place 1 yr before my trip to make sure we would have a place to stay in Malin Head. I was so surprised to get an email from Mary at Christmas wishing me a Merry Christmas, Mary's smile and warm welcome just added to our wonderful stay. The breakfast was wonderful...

Mary who runs this B&B is absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much for her and she is always so helpful. Gave us some good ideas about where to visit etc. The rooms are clean and the breakfasts great. We were greeted with tea, cakes and scones when we checked in.
