We had a rental in San Carlos, so we decided to buy a day pass from the San Carlos Plaza Hotel to sit by the beach and use their pools. The day pass is $250 pesos and they give you a voucher worth that amount to be spent in their restaurants. This made it completely worth it, as the drinks...

This is my second time visiting San Carlos. First time staying at San Carlos Plaza. The hotel is located in a good spot with nice private beach. The have a few additional extras for rent, such as quads and jet skies. A little pricey at $1400 pesos ($80 dlls) an hour. The hotel had very nice staff. Check in was...

For a pet friendly hotel with that cost I would stay in a pig farm, the glass for broken couldn't close it all the way, we were eaten by mosquitoes, plus so many rules about dogs that are like useless

Probably one of the best cost-effective choices in San Carlos considering the are not big resorts of well-known hotel brands. It looks quite old but it is remodeled, very clean and very well-maintained. Rooms really look like the hotel website pictures. Pools are warm and there is a small section for kids. Beach is close to the hotel and is...

The place is OK for a convention. The meeting rooms were big and comfortable. The pool and the reustaurants are fine. They a nice variety of food, like italian, mexican-american breakfast buffet, seafood and some others. My big problem were the rooms. I mean, it's a HOTEL, that should be its big deal but it's not. Rooms are old and...

Here are the facts, you decide: Staff is great and very friendly but lack focus and direction at a management level, Location is good, All rooms have a OV, prices are cheap, food at the hotel is very average, lots of problems with water in shower, it was either super hot or super cold. We even changed rooms "master suite"...

Our small group of tourists stopped for the night at the San Carlos Plaza Hotel Resort en route to the Copper Canyon. The luxurious rooms, quiet ambience, spectacular views out over the Sea of Cortez at sunset, and delicious food in the restaurant were enjoyed by all. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Even better were the huge fresh shrimp dinners...

We have been there 3 0r 4 times, never had our reservations, sometimes an hour wait to locate and check in. the rooms were minimal, no safe with out a $100.00 deposit, no fridge, check for alcoholic beverages and charged $12.50 per bottle of wine to bring to the room. Cockroaches, improper linens etc. Beautiful ocean view, but will never...

Old, run down, in terrible shape. Did have a good bed and in a great beach location. Pool was also great. But the hotel main areas and the rooms are just old, shabby and in dire need of renovations. Discoloured grout, cracked sinks, leaky taps, worn, and old. Maybe okay for in and out while traveling, but then it seemed...

What a beautiful hotel, this must have been in its grander days. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is still beautiful, all rooms overlook the beach and the outdoor amenities of the hotel and it is truly a sight to see! The rooms...very nice and nicely appointed, bed was comfortable and the room went down hill from there. The faucet...
