Maricela is very warm and generous. The rooftop room we stayed in was a bit hot, but the ceiling fan helped, and if we opened the windows that overlooked the stairs, sacrificing a bit of privacy, we were comfortable. There was a scarcity of hot water, but I think that is common in B&Bs locally. The food was fabulous, and...

Casa de Maricela is a great choice for SMA lodging. Maricela is friendly, the rooms are relatively affordable, and the property is in an excellent location (about 2 min. from the jardin). We had a beautiful top-floor room with nice furniture and a very comfortable bed with lots of blankets and cozy flannel sheets. The breakfasts and lunches were well-prepared...

My husband and I can't say enough about Casa Maricela, a beautiful B&B in San Miguel de Allende. The colonial city is absolutely charming, but if it were not, we would go back just to stay with Maricela. The home she welcomes you into is only a few years old and impeccably clean. And you don't have to worry about...

Staying in Maricela Campos' home was a lovely experience. The room was comfortable and immaculate--the housekeeping was beyond anything I have ever seen. For two people, $65/day included breakfast and lunch. These are full, delicious meals, and Maricela cordially accommodated my dietary needs (I don't eat meat). Lunch always involved soup, a main dish, and dessert. The meals were also...

We stayed at Maricela's B&B, which is Maricela Campos's home. She is a fantastic cook and the accomodations are extremely clean and affordable. We walked to the plaza daily and had a wonderful time. She has free wireless connection and serves a delicious breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend her and her home!

I went to San Miguel de Allende for the first time this year. My best friend had been there several times and had stayed at Casa Maricela. I absolutely loved the place. We were there for nine days. There are seven bedrooms with baths, each one different. It is a home like atmosphere, and serves two excellent meals a day...

Maricela and her staff are a treasure and reason for me to return to San Miguel. After two visits I feel like this is home away from home. Food is great! Every morning there is fresh fruit with yogurt and this amazing concotion of nuts/granola to sprinkle on top of the yogurt. Afternoon lunch is equally splendid and the mix...
