I just stayed at Maricela's house 2 days ago. She was a very nice host. While it took us a while to find her house (we were tired and directions in Spanish were not sinking in), she was waiting for our arrival and was gracious and very welcoming. There is a safe parking lot right by the house ($15 USD/day)....

I have stayed at Casa Maricela for 8 years. I was going to a Spanish Language School and met a student who was staying at Maricela's B&B. We talked about our experiences in our new "homes," and I told him that the food was "pretty bad," where I was staying. Soon after, he said, "Maricela invited you over for comida."...

My fiancé and I had the pleasure to stay at Casa Maricela on our last trip to SMdA in April. Travel has become one of our most valued hobbies. The greatest reward of traveling is experiencing a different culture. Instead of staying at chain hotels, we prefer local B&B. We're pleased to say that Casa Maricela not only met our...

Stayed here early May with my wife for one night while driving through the country on holidays. What a wonderful and personal b&b! As we arrived, Maricela immediately invited us to join her and the other guests for a wonderfully prepared lunch. The b&b is at walkable distance to all parts of the beautiful town, and the rooftop terrace gives...

I have just returned from one of the best vacations I have ever had, thanks to Maricela! From the moment I arrived to join a fabulous group of people enjoying a delicious lunch to my departure time after a week's stay , Maricela and her girls made sure that I was totally taken care of. The location is ideal, the...

Casa Maricela is a wonderful place. After a few days at Maricela's, I felt that I was living in some sweet San Miguel dream. We would awaken in our comfortable room. A delicious breakfast beckoned us downstairs. Fresh OJ, tropical fruit, a different and tasty main dish EVERY day. Maricela's brother owns a bakery around the corner, so the pastry...

The Instituto Allende in San Miguel connected us to Maricela. Her home is elegant, welcoming, and fun, and it's in the very heart of San Miguel, on a pretty street just steps from the Jardin. The view of colonial San Miguel from the terrace on top of her home is spectacular. A sunset drink there is one of the great...

The meals here were better than in most eateries. Maricela is a great hostess and source of information. We stayed in the "second house" which is owned by her sister. The good part is that you are away from the constant flow of traffic in the main house. The bad part is - you have to go outside on the...

My wife and I spent a week with Maricela Campos at her lovely B & B in San Miquel. It had been recommended to us by Warren Hardy Spanish. Our room was comfortable and clean, breakfast and lunch were well prepared, delicious and nicely served. Maricela ate each meal with us and was a gracious host. I would recommend Marcicela...
