L'Otel is a sophisticated jewel amidst the bustle and charm of the historical center. Upon arrival we were led up stone steps - soft pink plaster walls surrounded by trailing fuschia bouganvilla - into the private Owner's Suite. Lime washed, heavy wooden shutters were thrown open and light streamed in on a cozy, curtained canopy bed which faced the fireplace...

We had a wonderful experience in L'Otel. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the place was wonderful. The hotel has two locations, we stayed at the Chiquitos one were there are only 4 rooms. We had the "owners suite" which was beautiful. Breakfast is included . The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this boutique...

With only 4 rooms and plenty of common space both at ground level and on multiple patios, this boutique hotel has a lot to offer....except hustle and bustle. On a narrow street with limited traffic, the stay was quiet and peaceful. The junior suite was as pictured and the waterfall wall echoed a stay near a steam in the jungle....without...

This is our second stay at this welcoming, cozy, finely appointed hotel. From the intimate common areas to the warmly appointed room, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to most everything. Wonderful staff, always anticipating your needs. Only four rooms; at least four staff on site at all times.

L'Otel is a small jewel in the heart of this most festive and lively 16th century town. It is a four bedroom colonial house beautifully decorated, an absolute delight to spend time in each of its rooms and terraces. The service is impeccable; Martin and Margarita went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast delicious!

My wife and I loved the decoration and the location of this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for couples. Also we had a peak at the master suite upstairs and we wished we had splurged for the bigger room.

On a surprise birthday trip for my girlfriend, L'Otel was the height of the trip ! WOW ! WOW ! WOW !! Roughly one quarter of a block off the main drag in San Miguel de Allende, on Calle Chiquitos, L'Otel is a magical retreat in a magical city. Impeccably and uniquely furnished as it is, this quaint hotel ,...

My husband and I took a long weekend in San Miguel with L'otel coming with the highest of recommendations. The staff, the room, the food, the location...pure perfection at every moment. Martine was so helpful in planning our trip. Upon arrival, Martine and Rosario made every moment spectacular. And then there is Berta...who prepares the most fabulous breakfast each morning...everything...

We had stayed here seven years ago. The hotel has been updated (without losing its charm) and is more beautiful than ever. Martin took care of everything for us and accommodated some special needs on our part. The breakfasts were included, were a la carte and were especially yummy. The room included twice daily housekeeping and was immaculate. Their web...

This hotel is beautifully decorated. It is in a great location within a block of many restaurants and bars, but still manages to be very quiet. The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great linens and pillows. I would stay here again.
