We stayed for one night and got a room near the street... I thought it would be noisy, and I was right, but the noise came from the hotel itself, some kind of kitchen, which is strange because the hotel has no restaurant, and breakfast is served around the corner. Our room was spacious but furnishings were a bit spartan,...

Dear Guest thank you for your comments, the hotel has no kitchen but we will look into the noise you mention to identify where it comes from, as you well said parking is slow in san miguel due to the many festivities that take place in the city but we are of the few hotels that offer free parking to...

We stayed here for a long weekend to attend a destination birthday party. The room was booked for us by our birthday hosts. The best thing about the hotel is its location--close to everything you would want to see. We stayed in a junior suite which was in the middle of the hotel. We did not have any problems with...

I really liked staying at this hotel. It is small with very few rooms, colonial syle. It is very close to the main square (like 3 blocks away) but perfectly located because it is a quiet street, so it is very peaceful. Right next to our room was a nice roof top with chairs . The people at the front...

It's an intimate, quiet and peaceful location. Just a couple of blocks from the main square. Would definitely stay there next time. There is no parking but they have valet parking. There are intricate passages and steps, not handicap friendly. Other than that, it was perfect. Can't wait to be back.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Quetzal in a master suite size room for 8 nights in April. Fantastic hotel three blocks from the main square (Centro). Loved the location. Very nice and accommodating staff. Room rates are reasonable; master suite included a nice size room with King bed, a second room with table and chairs, TV, closets and...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights the week before Christmas. We were only planning on one night but we were so happy with the hotel that we asked for a second night and luckily it was available. Note that the room is not pretentious nor luxurious by any means, but it was comfortable enough. The patio right outside...

In our current trip to Mexico, we stayed in seven cities and ten hotels, and Casa Quetzal was by far the best place. It is now one week later, and we can't stop talking about it. Anything we wanted they agreed to; they first gave us a room close to the entrance by the street, charming and big but noisy....

We stayed here for 6 nights and found Casa Quetzal to be well located on a street not far from the Jardin. There is a bit of an uphill walk that might be a challenge for older people but it didn't affect us. The rooms were spotless and as we peeked into some of the unoccupied ones they look like...

Casa Quetzal was a perfect oasis from the often busy and crowded parroquia square. Tucked off on a side street, Casa Quetzal offers a quiet get away, yet not far from many of the good restaurants and lovely shops of San Miguel. The rooms are very clean, spacious with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. The rooms are spread...

For us, there was a disconnect between the reviews here and our experience. First, the car: the hotel is on a very narrow, one way street with no place to even leave the car with the flashers on while one registers. All of the streets in the area are one way, so you can't just drive around the block until...

Dear Guest, We are sorry for your comments but we would like to clear some points; Being walking distance in the heart of the historic center of san miguel can have some issues for some travelers that are totally out of the control of Casa Quetzal. San Miguel de Allende is world heritage protected city by UNESCO. that means many...
