Hacienda El Santuario just exceeded my expectations. It's in close proximity to downtown San Miguel where you can walk at any time of the day. Their premises are beautiful with an indoor patio where you have breakfast included every day on your stay. Rooms are high ceilings with wood beams and the king size bed is very comfortable. The shower...

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a hotel. Having previously looked at more expensive hotels in San MIguel, we decided to go for a more reasonable option and chose this one. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was fantastic. The rooms were extremely spacious and charming, the service was good and the breakfast was...

The property is situated in a great location with the main center just 2 blocks away through cobble stone streets. Room felt like a cozy Mexican sanctuary but I must say it was noisier than I expected. The room "Fresno" is the only double bed available and is right next to from desk lobby and courtyard so it's very noisy....

This traditional style Mexican hotel is conveniently close to everything. The staff is great and very accommodating. Luis at the desk speaks great English if you need advice on the area. The wait staff always wore a smile and tried hard to please.. The only criticism is that the coffee wasn't strong enough for us but the breakfast was great....

Come in, from the raucous plaza and the rocky streets, as the light slowly flees. Come in to the spacious courtyard, as women did centuries ago, young and old; embraced by the thick white walls; thinking of their day's work and their evening meal, saying a prayer and finding their nests: at the edge of the courtyard, or through a...

The hotel was quite beautiful, it had some very nice details. One of my favourite things was the small relaxing reading room. The room I stayed in was small but very functional. Something that confused me a little bit was that the "Continental Breakfast" was just a Mexican breakfast, which was also delicious, I was just expecting something different. I...

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Hacienda which is perfectly situated to explore the historic centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Irais and Abraham. Tranquil place on a quiet street with easy access to the main plaza. Stayed in Cempashupil which was ideal. Would definitely recommend this hotel for reasons stated.

We've just spent 2 days in San Miguel, and we absolutely loved this hotel. Very well located, walking distance from the main square, to very nice boutiques, galleries, etc. but still very peaceful, relaxing. And the people that worked there were 5 stars! I would absolutely recommend to stay there.

This was quite possibly the most gorgeous hotel I've ever stayed in. I had high expectations, knowing that the property is a Spanish colonial-era estate that was once a convent in the 16th century. I was not disappointed. The hotel has been beautifully restored in a way that retains the unique charm of its history. Like most buildings in San...
