We stayed 1 night at the Kinnitty Castle and it has been the highlight of our trip! I booked a baronial suite romantic getaway. Upon arrival, we had nothing to say about the property other than "jaw dropping." The woman at the front desk was extremely nice and had lead us to the room, where I noticed it wasn't an...

We had a great time at the castle. After dinner we spent the night at the library bar and Aran was our amazing bartender. He was professional, friendly, interesting and fast. He answered all of our questions about Ireland and was extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend staying at this castle and hopefully you will have Aran as a bartender!

Positives: First impressions on approach are good. Food was good, both breakfast and evening meal in the library bar were enjoyable The staff, although busy were friendly and professional. Negatives: Bedroom had 'old world charm', not a problem, the difficulty is sleep. The walls are paper thin, everything can be heard whether it is the people above or the people...

We must admit we were a little apprehensive due to some bad reviews we read from other guests on trip advisor, but we had the best experience ever . It´s an old place, with old world charm, so people expecting a perfectly shiny, minimalistic, recently renovated , hyper-posh locale are better off going somewhere else. It´s old in a warm,...

We had a night in Kinnity Castle 2 weeks ago and it was a lovely experience. The staff are very friendly and the place itself is what it says it is..a castle. The food was good and the rooms were nice. The only thing I would say is that the bed was old and not particularly comfortable but aside from...
