Not much to say beside that we were in pure heaven! The itself is great, and it's location even better! The bar/restaurant is very good, and at night it is close to being magical. We hope to come back one day!

The Alchemist is a true PARADISE on Earth. The hotel was made with so much love and details that make your stay a memorable and worthy of sharing experience. Since you are welcome you feel a very pleasant, warm, friendly atmosphere and every effort to make you feel at home. The yoga class is taught in a Yoga studio overlooking...

We stopped for lunch at El Alguimiste and I just wanted to say that the grilled lobster was really really good. My friends also enjoyed their meals and the beach is lovely! (As long as you are ok with the nudists)

We chose this place for the last two nights of our three week Mexican adventure and it was perfect. The cabin was spacious enough and had a great terrace where to relax after a hot day at the beach. Staff were lovely and helpful. We were perhaps a bit unlucky with the season as it looked like they were doing...

My partner and I spent last week at El Alquimista as part of a men's yoga retreat. There were a bunch of us from Toronto and Montreal, and I think this was the hotel's first time catering to an on-site retreat. The entire week was fantastic. Most of the rooms are actually free-standing thatched roof cabanas with bathrooms. Basic amenities...

We had a great stay in late February at el Alquimista, with many highlights - a few of those: The town of Zipolite - while under construction while we visited, local restaurants, stores, and the folks who live there were all helpful and welcoming. The beach - relatively small & private, with a beautiful view - a wonderful place to...

We stayed at the Hotel El Alquimista for 5 nights in mid-Feb ($77). The hotel is located at the base and up the side of the rocky headland at the west end of Zipolite beach. It consists of a number of cabañas scattered among the palm trees on the beach, a beachfront restaurant and bar, several 2-story building housing the...

Spent a week in this real paradise and I cannot wait to go back. From the minute you arrive, you are transported into another world. Time seems to have turned back decades from every other vacation spot we know. And we've always gravitated towards non-touristy places -- spent many years going to tulum. But this is tulum many, many years...
