Our visit to Spylaw Farm was very pleasant indeed. The accommodation was set to a high standard and the setting was ideal for short or long walks either in the hills or along the beach. We brought our dog who benefitted from the enclosed garden space just outside the front door of our cottage. we would be happy to return...

Great welcome with tea and scones, very welcome on a March afternoon as was the fresh bread and eggs. Andy and Lorna were very welcoming and Cuddys Croft is very comfortable and well furnished. We have stayed here before but not in Cuddys which is ideal for just the two of us. The accommodation was very warm and comfortable and...

We are so pleased you returned to stay at Spylaw after a few years break and found it welcoming and comfortable. As you say Cuddy's Croft is ideal for two and close to both the award winning coast and the Cheviot hills and Borders. Plenty to see and do. The weather was fairly kind too. Hope to see you both...

What a lovely little cottage Cuddys Croft is, beautiful and clean and very well presented, Andy and Lorna have thought of everything to make your stay a real pleasure. Its very well placed for day trips to the Northumbrian coast and near enough to the Scottish boarder for you to pop across and explore some lovely countryside. We paid a...

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at the cottage on Spylaw Farm; my eldest brother had originally booked this country retreat with his wife and son however he had to back out at the last minute, while this was unfortunate for them, it was a fantastic opportunity for us to get away for a few days, and...

Thanks for such a great review. We're so pleased you enjoyed the cottage and found it very convenient for the local attractions and market towns. As you say it is very peaceful here and only a few miles to the A1 and the tourist attractions. The beaches that have just won the Counrtyfile Award (great news) and about 7 miles...

We picked Cuddy's Croft mainly because of its location but we were thrilled to find that it was so much more than we could have hoped for. We have wanted to visit the area for a while now, as we wanted to see Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island - which we managed to do - and neither disappointed. However, we...

We stayed at Cuddy's croft with our 4 month old son and our dog and it was perfect for our needs. The cottage was beautifully decorated in a lovely setting. Andy and Lorna were very welcoming and also left scones, bread and flowers on our arrival. We found the cottage to be well situated for exploring Northumberland and also the...

Thanks for your great review and mentioning that the location is well situated for exploring Northumberland. Many people don't realise how convenient the cottages are for the beach, hills and the visitor attractions, and you can still be so peaceful here and enjoy the tranquillity of North Northumberland. It's great to know that you liked the location too. As you...
