We stayed here one night in August - we were welcomed by the owner's son and offered tea. The bedroom itself is beautifully presented - spacious, stylish, tranquil and well-equipped. In addition to this, you have a large private bathroom with a bath and separate shower (stocked with products), and a private dining room/ entrance hall. There is also a...

We stayed here back in june ,on a one night stay. It was was fantastic. We chose the one bedroom garden room complete with private dining room. Plus our own garden area. It was a beautiful day when we arrived and the owner made us a lovely pot of tea and cake which we ate in the garden. We had...

Stayed here few weekends ago for a Tom Jones concert at Chepstow racecourse. Roger took us over to Chepstow for cheaper than a cab was back. The accommodation really was excellent. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast next morning really was first class. All locally sourced and home made. Probably the best B and B I've stayed in in the uk.

Excellent B&B, possibly the best we've stayed in. The rooms were immaculate and the decoration was excellent. The private dining room was an added bonus, and was a very nice place to relax in. The hospitality was great and we were made to feel very much at home. The breakfast was all local ingredients and was very tasty! Wish we...

We stayed for one night in this wonderful B&B and wished it was for longer. It was tipping down on arrival and Maggie rushed out with a large umbrella, helped with the luggage and made us tea and coffee, even though we could have done it ourselves. I'm afraid we ate quite a few yummy biscuits with our tea and...

A short distance from the A48 between Chepstow and Newport, down a country lane there is this wonderful B&B. I booked the Bedroom which is actually a suite with a large bedroom, big bathroom and a private dining room. It has its own front door and is very well equipped and includes a fridge and microwave and glasses, plates and...

We have just returned from a wonderful week away at The Courtyard. Maggie and Roger couldn't have been more welcoming and they provided a home from home for us whilst we were in Wales. We were even able to take our dog along with us. The Courtyard is set in the hills, but only 5 minutes drive from pubs, restaurants,...

We were attending a party in the area and chose The Courtyard for its location, but it ticked every other possible box, which was a bonus! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, peaceful - it was really lovely. Maggie and Roger were so friendly and helpful - Roger even drove us to the party which saved us the hassle of trying to find...

We stayed for in March the second year running. Fabulously close to the start of the Wentwood 50 sportive. Maggie and Roger are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Double room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious made with locally sourced produce. A great find. Hope the sportive is run again next year so we have an...

I stayed here with my mother in August and have to say they have thought of everything. We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea and cake on arrival which was well needed after travelling. The room was very nicely decorated with a very big bed which was nice. The bathroom was very plush and extremely clean and plenty...
