Our recent return to Locgenole was not a disappointment. The location is ideal, it being situated on a sheltered inlet from the ocean, but within easy access of Lorient, a bustling town. The view from our room was terrific and totally relaxing. There was a very friendly welcome and one has the feeling of being in a well loved family...

Great location, treated so well by Bruno and the other staff. We stayed two nights and had the Special Valentines meal, the food and service was excellent. We cannot wait to return. The bed was very comfortable, the room well appointed and spotlessly clean throughout, the Breton sweet and biscuit on your pillow at night was a lovely touch.

We came here for a special Valentine's Day celebration. It was a beautiful, romantic choice and we enjoyed every minute. The chateau is stunning yet not overly precious and we still felt comfortable, the staff discreet yet warm and welcoming. The restaurant is very refined - our fish was cooked to perfection. It was very cold outside so our outings...

It is a beautiful property with good amenities set in a lovely location. On the night we stayed Brittany enjoyed higher than average temperatures. We were called to the overcrowded, very hot dining room. There was no air conditioning and I can't remember if there were fans but if there were they were not effective. Next door was an empty...

We stayed for two nights as a family, and were in the central part of the converted stable block, with a large sitting room and two large bedrooms to ourselves. The whole set up is extremely comfortable, very quiet and peaceful. The staff were discrete but very welcoming, coming out to meet up as we drove up. We had dinner...

Exquisite countryside next to an estuary make this a beautiful and peaceful stay when touring the south coast of Brittany. The 2 rooms we viewed were extraordinarily large with high ceilings great views and update bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs. The rooms are beautifully decorated with plenty of space to stretch and/or to reorganize your baggage after many days of touring....

Following our visit to Paris, my family (my wife and I and our two kids, ages 13 and 11) spent two nights at the Chateau. We stayed in the manor house. It was a great stay. The room was elegant and the property was so beautiful and fun to explore. We also had a fantastic dinner (with special meals prepared...

Mr. Bruno makes a stay at Chateau Locguénolé easy to compare with what his ancestors must have done to welcome guests. The entire staff treat you like royalty. The kitchen prepares outstanding meals and breakfast was heavenly! The custom of having an aperitif in a salon and waiting there until the meal you have selected is prepared was a delight....

When I brought dear friends last July, I hoped that the perfection would still reign! We were mesmerized yet again!! The setting is so beautiful with the rolling hill leading to the water and beautiful sailboats!! A divine place under the trees for our hors d'oeuvre!!! YES!!! The food is everyone's wish come true!! We could not wait to return...

After hoping for a chance to return to Locguenole some day, we finally made it last summer - after eight years, during which we kept remembering with pleasure or first stay in 2008. And there it was again, nothing much had changed: a most beautiful mansion, excellent food, attentive service and a totally relaxing atmosphere. We stayed two weeks -...
