It was a pleasant experience, facilities was clean & tidy. Cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful. I would have preferred an aircon in the room as it was very hot and when there was a power failure the fan that was in the room also did not work.

This is an amazing gem tucked away in the heart of the Magoebaskloof Valley. We had the privilege of watching a group of Samango monkeys right from our cabin! Beth, the manager, was honestly amazing - she helped my fiancé set up his proposal, and then treated us to a divine picnic afterwards! We will DEFINITELY be back to this... More

This is a great spot in a beautiful Magoesbaskloof valley. Very dog friendly. Spectacular wedding hall set on a lake. Pity we only stayed one nights as there is a lot to do in the area. Highlight was a run through the mountains followed by a swim in the pristine dam.

Situated at the bottom of a deep valley, the guest will eventually arrive in a peace haven - no other way to describe this place. You are met by 4 beautiful, practical chalets, well-equipped for the basic needs of a holiday, friendly service and a huge welcome. The environment is simply beautiful with its variety of flora of that area... More

Magoebaskloof is an excellent attraction to escape the busy dust cloud of Johannesburg. Being only 4 hours away makes it a perfect weekend break away. Taking you from dust clouds, to mountain views, finally ending in the jungle cover terrain of Magoebaskloof. The town is small, but all necessities are more than easily found with an excellent coffee shop and... More

Magoebaskloof Getaway is a beautiful place. We were received with open arms and felt very welcome. The wooden cabin was nice and cosy. And the surroundings peaceful and tranquil. We did the hiking trail which was very tough but fun, The view from the top was breathtaking. We had the best sleep that we have had in years. I will... More

This was one of the worst experiences ever. The cabin was dirty with a layer of dust on the pots and pans. The toilet had a foul smell. The crickets and frogs were so loud I had to use earplugs. Beth was accomodating up to a point but then falsely accused me of interfering with her staff which I took... More

This was the most atrocious place I've ever been. Its dirty, dilapidated and unkept. The noise of the crickets and frogs are so deafening (if you stay in the cabins next to the dam) you can not even have a normal conversation. Beth's (the lady that you deal with) behaviour is bossy and intrusive, she is absent minded and makes... More

Camping sites have electricity. Nice clean ablutions. The road is steep down hill, but it is drivable. We drove down with 4x4 and Off road caravan. No problems. The surroundings is absolutely spectacular. Not to mention the birding and frogs.
