We stayed here for6 nights in June -and boy did we enjoy it. We had a suite at the rear, which was always cool. The decor is gorgeous, but you feel like it's your home it is so comfortable The bed was comfortable, the bathroom lovely and a great shower. It's family run and family designed and I would recommend...

We had spent 5 nights at Minelska, and were sorely disappointed. While the rooms are nicely decorated and the staff friendly, not much seems to function properly. The wifi signal in the rooms is extremely weak. Showering was an ordeal as there was either no hot water or only a trickle of water. The breakfast buffet was adequate, but the...

My Wife and I made this our first stop in our tour of central Greece and the Pelion. As we had booked it on the internet and had flown early from England, then driven four and a half hours to Kala Nera we were very tired. We were not sure what to expect, but we were welcomed by Thomas and...

It's a very nice and tidy hotel. Even if you're not a customer, you can visit it to drink your coffee or your drink. Located in a very beautiful spot (just in front of the sea) and offers comfort and relaxation. Its environment is very atmospheric, especially if you decide to enjoy your drink at night, just beside the sea,...

If I could, I'd live at the Minelska. It is absolutely gorgeous, a perfect mix of luxe and rustic. The staff is attentive and multi-lingual. The cafe for the hotel is directly over the beach,; when the tide comes in it will actually splash up onto the patio! You are THAT close to the sea. It's an ideal location from...

It is a small town but big enough for some really good food and a very nice promenade. At the hotel you can get some snacks but when you go in...

I always like to come back to this boutique family run hotel. The rooms are spacious and very romantically decorated. There is a very nice seafront area to have your coffee and breakfast with view to the 280 degree views Pagasitic gulf. Great choice for a weekend break all year round.

We had the most amazing time in this little hotel! Service was amazing and owners did everything to ensure my parents and I are well taken care of. They also helped as much as they could with my baby boy. Its the details like this that matter. The interior of the room was also chosen with so much style and...

“The room straight ahead on entering the quiet courtyard. Its really a 'suite'.”

“Depends very much on what your requirements are - due to mobility issues I needed to be on the ground floor (no lift, which in itself was not really a problem but would have been a bonus). All suites are excellent and have their own special identity with different furnishings and fittings. If you have special needs or requirements, check with the hotel management - they'll be more than happy to accommodate you! The front suites afford a magnificent view over the sea and bay and are just perfect. I needed peace and quiet, though, and found that in one of the courtyard suites! Not that the front was too noisy, it wasn't really, but as Kala Nera is rather small for a tourist place, and the hotel sits right on the seafront, all "traffic" passes right in between its seafront terrace and the front hotel building, and as such would have distracted me from my work. Plus then a dodgy left knee which prevented me from climbing the stairs. Hence our choice of a groundfloor suite. Will upload photos soon!”
