On the back of reviews on TripAdvisor we chose to start our holiday with a meal here.
Sadly, the meals were quite ordinary. The burgers were over cooked and chips were too thin and onion rings too battered.
We followed up with knickerbockers with strawberries...More
Great atmosphere lovely staff fabulous food. Dropped in for a drink and a bite to eat. Met with very friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. The food is excellent and a good range of beers. Definitely recommend this place for the weary traveller.
Stayed for a few days whilst exploring the local area. Staff could not have been more helpful and the food was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and enjoyed two evening meals. Good selection of beers, wines and gin!
Stayed one night.Lovely local friendly pub. Rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast cooked to order food very high quality. Nothing too much trouble.Highly recommend and would stay again

We visited the coach an horses 4 nights in a row for our evening meal. We tried a variety of the dishes on offer and each one was top class. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.
