This is the best Bed&Breakfast we have ever stayed at. Moe and Lou are the best hosts you can have, and they make sure that your needs are met and that you feel most welcome. We stayed for 10 days and they made sure we got introduced to new guests at the morning table where you can share your previous...

oh how wonderful that you took the time after your long trip back to Denmark to write such a stunning review. We truly appreciate it. We do love sharing our little B&B in the Mayan jungle with such wonderful travelers as yourselves. In fact, your name came up yesterday with the other guests at breakfast. It was a delight for...

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and could not have been more pleased. What Lou and Moe have done is simply incredible - a magical oasis tucked away in the middle of the Mexican jungle where you feel like you're miles away from anything and everything, while actually only being 15 minutes from great restaurants, shopping, ruins, cenotes and beaches....

Thanks so much for your glowing review. We appreciate all the details you included. We are passionate about our little paradise in the Mayan jungle and love sharing it with travelers from all over the world. When you arrived without a car, you felt you could wing it, but found out that a lot of time and extra money are...

This b & b was wonderful. The setting can't be beat. It is right off the road from Tulum to Coba ruins. Lou and Mo are great hosts and will give advise on day trips. The breakfasts are well prepared and nicely presented. Our room was very pleasant.

Good morning. Thanks so much for your concise review of your stay with us at La Selva Mariposa. You mentioned so much of what travelers are wondering about when they are looking for a place, off the beaten path, to book for their vacation. There is so much changing in this part of Mexico and new sites opening up for...

I never tire of this place. Each time I come there is something new. I always use the same word to describe it, magical. But in reality no words can do it justice. The rooms are exquisite, the property gorgeous, pools and jacuzzi amazing, breakfast delicious. Hosts, Lou and Moe are great. This trip I had the pleasure of spending...

So glad you decided to return, as Lou and I were in the states when you visited last year. Julio was delighted to take care of your needs while you were here, and we were excited to be able to meet you in person this time around. Your comments were thoughtful and helpful to future travelers. Thank you also for...

Moe and Lou wrote the book on hospitality. Their place in the jungle west of Tulum is a must for people who seek to know more about the Yucatan than what a week in an all inclusive can possibly impart. So if you want a unique blend and b experience spend a few nights in three rustic comfort of LA...

Great to be back in business after a short close while we began construction on the two new units that will be completed in a month and ready for decorating and putting on the finishing touches. We had a wonderful anniversary celebration at La Selva Mariposa. The little houses are masterfully decorated, and wonderfully comfortable and spacious. Purified water is provided which is a nice luxury to not have to worry about that. Rooms are air conditioned and really comfortable. There is lots of information about the area to help plan your trip and your hosts...

Thanks for your striking review, but so sad you only rated us a 4. That is both the magic and difficulty about having a B&B off the beaten path. It is so comfortable to be able to walk to all the coolest restaurants and tourist sites without getting in a car. This is what I dream of, but unfortunately, the...

My husband and I stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon, and it was our favorite! The sounds in the evening in the jungle were soothing as there was a little stream that trickled outside the room. Thanks so much for visiting La Selva Mariposa during this potentially rainy season when many tourists, especially from the US, shy away from our little paradise. We loved our stay at La Selva Mariposa. I have to say I was a little worried when we first drove up. It is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Tulum, and we thought it looked a little sketchy at first. But once we got inside the gate, we felt like we were at home. You feel as if...
