I had a really bad experience with them. The breakfast was awful, they tried to charge us for having the free breakfast that should be included in the sort of high price we paid for.... The cabinet was nice, but the cleaning service was made during the afternoons, when we wanted to take a shower after being outside all day...

Great no frills cabanas located right on the beach. We paid 500 pesos for a 2 bed canana. Bathrooms are shared but clean and rooms are simple with surprisingly comfy beds and mosquito netting. Plus these cabanas are the closest to the ruins. Great little bar on site with happy hour until 9:45 at night!

It's a shame the contrast between the beauty of Tulum's scenery and the poor service and bad travel experience we had in this hotel. We rented a cottage for a couple of nights, which "in theory" did not include room service. As we weren't sure, at noon the next day we wanted to make sure of it. The receptionist assured...

First: This is the fantasy beach you see in commercials. I LOVED the beach - enjoyed the water for hours. But I had great difficulty enjoying this place. It was my first experience in a cabana - and my last. Walk 30 yards to a common toilet building. No soap there; bring it with you if hand-washing is important. Walk...

This set of cabanas has the BEST beach location, a very friendly staff, but is very rustic. Do not go here expecting 24 hour electricity, hot water, or A/C. Bring towels, sheets, bug repellent, or even a citronella candle, maybe even some extra pillows. Sounds like alot to bring, but the only other things you really need in Tulum are...

Sweet location on one of our top 5 beaches we've ever experienced. Swim with a view of a Mayan Temple, sweet. The rustic cabanas are nestled in an extensive dune field. The facilities are in a poor state of repair and offer no tangible amenities. EG, don't even expect towels although sheets are provided. When I inquired about getting towels,...

If you just come to laze on the beach and do not care about the comfort of your accommodation, this is the place for you. In my opinion, this hotel has got the best beach location in the whole of Tulum. The beach is beautiful, wide and clean here, and absolutely gorgeous. The hotel itself is a bit worn around...

I had been given many great reports about Tulum. I spent the first night in Tulum town, which was a mistake. It was a waste of time. I should have headed straight for the beach. There is no point at all at staying in town. If you go to Tulum, only stay in a Cabana - otherwise you miss out...

I stayed at Zazilkin with my boyfriend for 4 nights in June and it was one of the best parts of our trip. If you're not looking for the 'all inclusive' resort vibe, and wanting something more basic and off the beaten track then this is the perfect place. It was quiet when we were there. Maybe 2 other couples...

We had originally booked into a hostel in Tulum town and planned to move to Zazilkin the next day, but after we went and looked at Zazilkin we checked out of the first place and into here. It's right on the beach and the views of the turquoise blue Caribbean are just gorgeous. The huts are pretty basic but really...
