Just returned from a yoga retreat at Amansala Resort. Stayed at Amansala Chica. The staff were wonderful; very friendly and helpful. (I misunderstood the lunch time the first day and missed the buffet. The kitchen went out of their way to offer me a generous plate of food which was delicious.) The food was very good; emphasis on lots of...

We only stopped for a drink while exploring Tulum - lovely find and we would have booked for the beach club but we had plans already. Beautiful beach, chic wooden deck and delicious drinks! I had the most luscious watermelon vodka and mint drink served in a cool jam jar glass! Worth noting that when you drive on the road...

My favorite trip of the year is my annual yoga retreat to the Amansala Eco Chic resort. We always go in January or February and stay at the Amansala. The staff is the friendliest in Tulum; the rooms are very Mexico chic and simple; yoga rooms are perfect for practicing and it is easy to walk down the beach or...

I hosted a yoga retreat with 16 guests at Amansala and it could not have gone better! The location is beautiful, the food is delicious and healthy, the rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated and the staff is AMAZING! Honestly, everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. My whole group felt very comfortable and taken care of. We had so...

I have facilitated two yoga retreats here at Amansala and both times were a dream. The process of facilitating a retreat here is seamless. I was given an easy to follow retreat package that made everything from room assignments to payments effortless. Emails were answered right away and if anything came up, someone was always available to make sure the...

When we checked in there was some noise work at an adjacent property on the beach next to Amansala so the staff walked us next door to their equally beautiful smaller property Amansala Chica just up the beach and gave us a beautiful ocean front room. They were so cool and accommodating. The property was immaculately clean and the epitome...

we stayed at Amansala Chica for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed it immensely. Beds were comfortable, good wifi in central areas, cleaned every day, ample fresh towels, which really matters at the beach...lovely ocean front, pleasant and responsive staff....one of my favorite vacations...

Their reception staff consists of uneducated thugs and the gift shop hostess was no where to be found. This hotel is old with lazy staff. Look for more newer more modern hotels with better service down the hotel strip. Amansala is not worth it.

I have moved here after a terrible stay at another hotel in Tulum. Booked the hotel for 3 nights and since my first visit to check the rooms and availability all the staff was so genuine and attentive that made me feel special! My background is Hotel Management and worked over 14+ years in the 5 star hotel world. This...
