The Amansala Hotel is across the road from the major supermarket at the edge of town (about 6 blocks from the centre). The rooms were VERY large and it was great to spread out for a couple of days. There is a mini kitchen and fridge available in the large foyer and 24 hour tea, coffee and water. There is...

There were multiple mess ups with the activities I pre-booked and my bill at the end. Mistakes are understandable to a certain degree, but the poor customer service in dealing with the mistakes they made was unprofessional.

I have been back for Amansala Bikini Boot Camp 2 times and it was even more amazing the second time. It's magical and I believe it's because of the vision of the owner and the people that she has brought that creates this uniqueness of Amansala. Last year I went with a friend, this year I went alone, and I...

We came to Amansala based on recommendations of well traveled friends. The beach here is beautiful and the food was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and gracious hosts. Our room on the other hand, was extremely disappointing. The smell of rotten garbage or sewage (we couldn't tell which it was) often wafted through our room. The shower smelled...

Beautiful set up with a fantastic location on the beach. Great service from the staff. Liked the individual design of the cabanas. High quality bedding. Menu slightly limited if staying for a long time. There were some holes in the mosquito net which should be fixed. Would like to return.

The weeklong all-inclusive package entitled "Beach & Bliss" promised a week of daily yoga, meditation, relaxation in gorgeous surroundings. Unfortunately, these were delivered with daily disappointments, hassles, miscommunications, blunders and an appalling lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I am told that there has been exceedingly high turnover rate on the management team at Amansala and IT SHOWS. First, some...

Yes time stopped. We were here for 5 nights & it felt like 3 weeks.. Really got to rest. The reception staff were great especially Tom; Cheers mate. The restaurant had really good food but it was pricey. If you want to relax in a charming little cottage by the beach this is your place. If you expect luxuries &...

This hotel captures exactly what is wrong with pretentious 'eco-friendly' resorts. You pay more for less luxury and the contribution to the environment is minimal. Sure, using AC is not great for the environment - but in hot, humid environments (and especially when your room has very little ventilation) the best is to use renewable energy. For the price you...

The best way to described this place is eco-luxury rustic. The hotel has a very nice overall feel and energy about it. Sitting on the sun drenched deck overlooking the crystal clear waters and white sand beaches of Tulum is magical. One of the only hotels that has a pool right on the beach. Our room was one of the...

This was the perfect beach vacation for my family. My Kids are ages 12-25, and had something for everyone. Super beachy and relaxing vibe. Spent each day in the ocean and then relaxing/playing in the beach side pool. The food is amazing, fish tacos and the guacamole are the best in the world! A really perfect place to spend quality...
