This place is quaint and wonderful. It only has 9 rooms so the environment is relaxing and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Many of them made it a point to learn your name. The bar makes great drinks and the food was delish as well, I especially liked their guac :). I would definitely recommend this place...

Amazing place to wind down and relax. Food was superb. Brilliant staff who really added to the atmosphere. We were in room three and then moved to room one. Room three is bigger but room one was just as nice - the view is possibly even better in room 1....but be prepared for the kitchen to come to life below...

We stayed at Villas Las Estrellas for a long weekend and enjoyed it immensely. The staff were courteous, friendly and the concierge was very knowledgable. Morning breakfast was included in the bill and was adequate. We got a suite facing the ocean ( btw, they all face the ocean) with a hammock on the porch. The room was spacious with...

We loved everything about our stay here! Yes there are some aspects that are a bit basic (no AC, sketchy hot water, delicate plumbing) but that is all part of the experience. This is not a high rise luxury hotel thank god! We stayed in Suite 1 which I would highly recommend. We had a large room (double bed plus...

Dear AMN27, Thank you for your kind review, we are thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful stay with us and you found in Villa Las Estrellas a little peace of heaven. In deed, we do not offer AC but when being so close to the beach no extra air needed with the ocean breeze. We appreciate you taking...

Friendly people, great food, beautiful rooms, and a terrific golden retriever named Tequila. We spent 5 full days and could not have been more relaxed. We stayed in unit 1 which is a free standing room...well worth it. The beach is beautiful, though the only difficulty was a fair amount of seaweed. The staff worked so hard to keep the...

Dear Mdoln, Thank you for your kind review about us, we're glad to hear that everything was amazing, customer service is our number one priority. This was our third trip to Tulum, we have also stayed at La Zebra and the Beach. We loved our stay at Villa Las Estrellas, it was by far my favorite room. We stayed upstairs in a beautiful Mexican casita overlooking the ocean. The breezes on the balcony were so peaceful that we slept great. It was also nice to...

Rooms are cute but very primitive (can't throw toilet paper down the loo needs to be thrown into a basket! are we in stone age?) and very basic especially considering the prices of $250-$400 a night $150 would be much more appropriate. Breakfast, continental breakfast, is really poor, a bit of fruit and a few small pieces with dry bread...

After a few days in the congestion that is Cancun, arriving at Tulum and especially Villa Las Estrellas was a most welcome relief! Within 15 minutes of arrival on the property, we extended our stay an additional day. The property is amazing ... quaint and gorgeous. The room (we had a private suite/bungalow) was absolutely perfect; listening to the ocean...

However good location on the beach. Very windy and loud during night so we didn't sleep very well. Staff was simply too much - always with a fake friendly smile and comment - please leave people more alone and try to take a hint! Prices were outrageous and bad value for money when you consider the rooms.
