My husband and I just visited this lovely property. It is located in a neighborhood a few blocks off the main town. Upon checking in we were greeted by Maura and she sat with us and outlined some sites on a map. Showed us our room and told us alittle about the inn. We stayed in room 4, nice size with...

At first we sought a place on the beach for our stay in Tulum but prices were frankly too high. So we booked a bedroom in this hostel, in Tulum town. This decision appeared to be the best though, the weather was pretty cloudy and rainy and it would have been freezing on the beach. The hotel was really nice...

The place is perfect. Clean, green, smells good and the most important, the guys there (Joshua and Maura) are great guides. They are always there for you. You can ask them about the nice places places to visit, to eat and exchange trip experiences. I really recommend Secret Garden as a great place to stay in Tulum.

Josh, Maura, and Minka are the best hosts. The Secret Garden is located in a nice, relaxed neighborhood just a couple of blocks off the main street. The beach is too far to walk to but an easy bike ride. The public beach is beautiful and the Mezzanine serves 2 for 1 margaritas from in the afternoons (happy hour there...

I took a chance, just arriving at the front door, from a long overnight bustrip. A lucky decision, since the owner Joshua was there - and gave me a lovely little room and a warm welcome. It felt like coming to a friend´s house. Also Maura whose working with Joshua was a lovely person. The rooms (I moved around, since...

I stayed at the Secret Garden in Tulum for five nights and I had a wonderful experience there. Joshua and Maura were both very friendly and helpful in recomending places to eat, places to go, and the best way to do things in Tulum. WOW! affordable, peaceful, jungle oasis..the funny thing is your in the town of Tulum. When you walk through the gates, it changes from the dusty streets to a garden of inviting music, soft oversized couches, large over hanging trees and pale lit candles at night...I was at peace. The room was cozy and very clean with A/C which worked well....
