Comfortable room with aircon, but noisy street and odd atmosphere. Felt like being in a student flat you were not invited into, not a hostal. The public room was occupied with staff watching loud TV. Met with such rudeness we have never met at hostel byfore by staff and friend when checking out. Don't know what has happened to this... More

We came only for 3 nights and finally we stayed the hole month! Great ambience and people, always willing to help you even crossing boundaries on whats normal help. House's very comfortable and still on the tourist area, but places around have better prices than most of the zone. You can borrow from it a bike, kayak and even ask... More

The location is perfect. It is close to the beach and close to the 5th avenue (which is where the restaurants and bars are). It was safe and clean enough considering the fact that it was a hostel. The staff was really nice! They hung out with us and made us feel at home. We felt welcomed there. I would... More

Siete Colores is truely a home away from home. I felt safe, comfortable and the hostel is clean and bright. The staff are great and personable. I was traveling alone and they were very welcoming. Siete Colores is definitely a low budget option for those traveling to Playa del Carmen:)

Overall clean and neat. Attention given by staff( Eli y Gaby) is really good and warm . Low price is a good thing to notice besides the well functionning of all services( hot water, wiFi ,kitchen, etc). It's located only two blocks from the beach but a bit far from 12thAve. And 5thAve. Where many of the night clubs are.... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in the relatively new hostel run by a young friendly couple who really did their best to make the stay worthwhile. The pros were the location as it's wedged in between the touristy area and local neighbourhood - getting the best of both worlds. Very cheap dorm rooms and generally clean. The downside was... More
