This is an average hotel, rooms are OK but I would say a bit expensive for what you get. Free wifi is available in tthe room. Staff is kind and friendly. I liked the beach club and the food at Lido bar is fine.

Managers- please give the rooms some color and class. All white no personality. Basic of the basic. Please turn the volume of the desk phone down. We could hear it every time even over the night club music which was very annoying until the wee hours. Disappointed having to pay to use beach chairs. Mattress was more like a hard...

Staff was great, very flexible..let me enjoy their delicious fish and shrimp tacos for breakfast. Perfect after a long swim. Lovely setting . Rooms very clean and furnished in local style. Would definitely book here again

Stayed here for 5 nights thinking this would be wonderful on the beach only to be disappointed by the room (no hot water for the first two days) and by the lack of accessibility to the beach- only access is via the overcrowded Lido bar. Most of the staff spoke little English which didn't help when trying to fix the...

This is my third time coming to this hotel. This time around on my second night, they jacked my purse on the couch in the lobby while taking a picture surrounded with my friends. The workers tried to help, there are no cameras any where, the safety here is poorly, and you shouldn't stay in a place where they stole...

I must first say that we stayed at this hotel for one night after staying at a nice all-inclusive place for three nights. I knew that this place would be a step down from the other one, but I didn't know it would be quite so big of a difference. The first impression you get is not great - when...

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. It is well located right on the beach and a block down from 5th Ave (the main street) and but also super close to the nightclub area. This means sleeping is difficult due to the loud music playing all night, every night. I had to use ear plugs to get any...

The room at this hotel was large but sober.... The music from bars in the street was very loud and it plays all night long. Hardly no sleep for us. If you look a bit further you could have better accomodation for this money.

It was a great location-- right on the beach and a block away from 5a avenida, not to mention it is steps away from a strip of night clubs; great for someone looking to experience Playa del Carmen FULLY.
