How many hotels will specially make you homemade chicken soup when your wife comes down with the "Revenge"?!! Well Eddy one of the owners, whipped up soup just like your Mom.'s. We loved the place and will definitely return. The rooftop terrace had a small jacuzzi and could really benefit with a pool. Mel was so helpful and check out...

lovely hotel, extremely helpful and knowledgable owners who are always on hand to help plan your next trip or even just your next meal. Rooms were spotless and very nicely decorated. The roof-top terrace is a beautifully relaxing place to spend an afternoon. I would have no hesitation in recommending or returning.

We stayed here and had a great experience. The owners helped us several times with directions into town, advice where to eat, and much more. The rooms were excellent (we stayed in 2 rooms), and the bed was so big and very comfi. The only little remark I could think of is breakfast, which is very nice, but equal every...

Hotel Julamis is a beautiful hotel in an old restored building with charming rooms and delicious breakfast. Located on a safe, quiet street just a few blocks from the historic town square, it's location leaves you close to the city's best restaurants, shops, and attractions. Our room was very spacious and cool, with truly unique decor. It's clear that the...

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, but the hosts really made our stay special. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and every day we stayed here. Our tours were arranged for us and a delicious breakfast started each day. Plus, there is a friendly dog and a funny cat in residence to add even more cheer to...

There isn't enough we can say about Hotel Julamis to do it full justice, but we will try! Firstly the location is just great. It is situated just a few blocks from Calle 60 (where a good selection of restaurants and shops are to be found), but the street itself is quiet so the setting is nice and relaxing. It...

Mel and Erin have created a beautiful, small, friendly hotel in a quite location, close to the centre of Merida. Their attention to detail and to their clients' comfort impressed us and made us feel that we were staying with friends. Our air conditioned room was really clean with two double beds, plenty of wardrobe space, a refrigerator and an...

Owners have great advice for sightseeing and really go out of there way to make the stay a success. The place has a great location, very clean rooms, and great courtyard for breakfast and rooftop for taking in some sun. All for a very reasonable price. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not much to say after so many wonderful reviews. Stayed in room Ramon, US$59, simple design, lots of light and closet space, large bathroom with good water pressure. All the little details, the daily stocked frigobar (entirely free), home-made rye bread, best dark coffee, quiet location 3 blocks from exhaust ridden Calle 60, WiFi throughout, and then, the owners. You...

Our stay in Julamis hotel was great. This is a very tasteful place with excellent customer service, spotless rooms (we stayed in two different ones) and a convenient Centro location. The hotel is within short walking distance of the jewels of Merida - Paseo De Monejo (the main avenue of Merida) and Zacolo (the main square). Mel & Erid have...
