Wilbur and Lupita are wonderful hosts. Friendly, helpful and Wilbur is fluent in English. Casa Sacnicte is located 10 minutes walk, south of the Zocalo in a quiet neighbourhood with few tourists. Room was splendid, clean, very spacious, Queen sized comfy bed with cable TV and air conditioning. Everything worked fine with no problems. We had our own private and...

Casa Sac Nicte is a little oasis in Merida. Keeping in mind how busy and noisy Merida is, Sac Nicte offers you a relax quaint and charming atmosphere. Some of the rooms downstairs are a little bit dark so ask for a brighther room next to the inside patio. The B&B is beautifully decorated with Mexican artwork and colors. The...

I really enjoyed a lot staying at Casa Sacnicte! It's run by an extremely friendly and helpful couple. Breakfast (with fresh orange) juice was included and the room, although a bit dark, was exceptionally clean. Free internet access would have been included too but didn't work while I was there, so I used the internet cafe around the corner. Another...

We were even invited to share in the owners' family Christmas dinner feast, complete with Turkey and all the trimmings, and their breakfasts were wonderful too.

In addition to all the good things people have said, I would add how attentive the owners are. During our stay, they were also juggling visits from family and friends. Still, they made sure we were comfortable at every moment. We had an incredibly early flight, and, despite our insistence that we could plug in a coffee pot, they were...

This is a lovely B&B, not far from downtown (about seven blocks south of the grand plaza). Guadelupe was a wonderful host, very warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean, there's hot water (not a given in some other places I stayed), and there's a computer with free Internet access.

This B&B is simply wonderful and we can highly recommend it. We originally intended to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying 2 weeks. It is close to the bus station and downtown and is very safe. The entire house is spotlessly clean and lovingly decorated, with flowers and plants everywhere. Our room (No 3) has a window to...

What a fantastic little spot! The owners are an older couple who are very friendly. The husband speaks fluent english which was helpful to us. However, I would ask other people about suggestions for restaurants/shopping (we had trouble finding restaurants and stores he suggested). The place was immaculate - so clean and cozy. They have a small sitting room and...

I stayed in Casa Sacnicte while doing research for my PhD from September 2008 to March 2009, and for the entire time, my stay was absolutely perfect. The house is extremely well located, just one block from the main street (Calle 60), and no more than 10 minutes walk to the Plaza Grande (main square). All the main attractions of...
