Our first holiday to Mexico was made perfect by staying at Hotel Del Peregrino. The staff were so warm and friendly and helped with everything we needed. We loved the hotel because it felt like Mexico. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and full of colour as is the the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was quite good...

Like to lodge at El Centro de Merida and have tried various hotels in that area. This time decided to give Hotel del Peregrino a try since I read some pretty good testimonials on this site. In their favor I want to say that the staff is very attentive and the location of the hotel is very good, hardly any...

We do our best to meet all our guest’s expectations and will continue to do so. These comments are appreciated and help to make us a better hotel. 1) Many of the mattresses in the hotel are new. Having suffered with back pain for many years, I may have erred on the side of buying mattresses with extra firm support....

We spent three nights in this hotel in Merida and loved it from the minute we arrived. It's not really walking distance from the bus station with bags but is a great location for exploring the city and the neighbourhood felt very safe. We were welcomed by Fernando who gave us loads of information about what was going on in...

I spent one night at the Hotel de Peregrino. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, but it felt more like a hostel than a hotel or bed and breakfast to me. My room, which was billed at the "deluxe" rate was small with hardly room to move as there were three beds jammed in it - which made...

This was our 2nd visit to Peregrino, and was very pleased to see that nothing had changed, not even the employees. To me, that says it all ! Plus, great location, quiet and safe area, great prices, good food (breakfast), clean and friendly. Last year we stayed for 3 days and this year was the same. I am trying to...

A friend and I stayed here 3 nights in April 2013. Very clean, staff very helpful, and wonderful location to all the action. It is about a 5 block walk to Plaza Grande and nice sidewalks. The owner was most helpful and very friendly. Will definitely stay here when I return to Merida. The city is so clean and friendly.

I will come back here. It is a nice hotel with the community feel of a hostel. Clean and friendly and a free breakfast. The room was quaint and I loved the mosaic tiling in the bathroom. The staff was helpful with everything. Location is quiet which is hard to find this close to downtown Merida.

This manages to tick several boxes for accommodation - it's great value with a location within 10 minutes walk of Plaza Grande. The rooms are spacious and spotless and the showers are hot! We visited around Easter and whilst it was 35C outside, the air-con was first class. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I'd have no hesitations...

This place is a hidden gem in Merida. The value was amazing! For around $50 a night we got a great room with breakfast for 2 included. The service was comparable to a 5 star hotel and the place was very clean. Breakfast is simple but tasty and all that you need to begin a day of sight seeing. Alexander...

We have stayed now at several hotels on our Mexican vacation and this is by far the best. The hotel is as ¨Mexican¨as you can get. The colours and decorations give you that feeling of a warm and cosy home. The staff are excellent in every way. From recommending restaurants to booking tours they were extremely friendly and helpful. Even...
