We had a ground floor room. The beds were very comfortable! The room was very clean on our arrival and the air conditioning very effective - very important I. Merida. We had breakfast from the menu one day and the buffet the next. Had dinner one night as well. The food and service were both excellent. We live in Merida,... More

The hotel is built on a courtyard with each room having a door and window facing the courtyard. Room 228 is on a long hallway therefore any noise in the hall echos quite a bit. Early in the morning (7am or earlier) when people start moving around you hear luggage rolling down the tile floors, you hear every open and... More

Had a great time in Merida and enjoyed our 10 day stay at the hotel. Restaurant in the hotel was reasonable and the food was good. Pool area was beautiful. 3 blocks from main square, so close to everything.

Stayed here for two nights during a tour of Mexico. The location is great. The foyer is clean and cool. The staff some very friendly and helpful others not so much. My room had a small window in the corner of the room which looked directly over the courtyard and so would hear people laughing and joking at all hours.... More

We were there in May when the climate was very hot. Thankfully the A/C was up to it. The rooms were arrayed around a courtyard which could be noisy at times. Our bathroom had a vent to the outside which was made it warmer and more humid than the bedroom. There were 2 double beds which were comfortable. There was... More

This hotel was fantastic. Beautiful warm pool in the courtyard. Central to the city centre. Close walk to the city zoo (free entry by the way) and the staff were more than amazing. The rooms were not 5 star but they were neat, clean and quiet to sleep in. Highly recommend this hotel

We upgraded to this hotel from the standard option on our tour, we were a bit disappointed, whilst the reception area was very nice, our room felt fairly basic compared to some of the other hotels we had stayed in. The sheets didn't fit the bed so every time you turned the bed became untucked and sheets rucked. The bed... More

This was perfect for the price. From the time we check-in till check-out we had professional class services from every staff from Front Desk, Bell men and Housekeeping. I was in the Executive Room which was very spacious. Online did not show how roomy it was. I was on the third floor on the north south end. Room was clean... More

Bilinugual hotel staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. They made it easy for us to get around with their directions and suggestions for activities and restaurants and would call a taxi for us whenever we needed. They have a restaurant in the hotel which I heard from other guests was good but we did not eat there ourselves. Also they... More

We stayed at Gobernador for 4 nights and had a good time there. We found the rooms a bit dark, but alright. But the best was the friendly and helpful staff. Especially Roger who you will definitely meet in the reception was a great guy. He offered us a lot of useful information. Thanks.
