This is a historic place, economic and very chill environment. You can cook, smoke and use the wi if anytime. Use solar power and they offer tours anywhere. The owner is very open minded and a great team working hard

We had a very pleasant time in this hostal and the breakfast in the open kitchen was great! We could switch the room without any problems and the view from the roof was very nice. You should use the showers early since they tend to run out of hit water after some time

Omelette, cafe, frutas - todo lo que necesitas que tener un día tan bueno! 2. Joel & Javi - on reception. Two of the nicest guys you... More

We spend two nights in Hostel Zócalo (private room with private bathroom). Pros: the breakfast is nice but not more - good eggs, some fruits, dry bread.. the location is the best that you can ask for in Merida. Cons: the rooms are small. the fan is not so good and don't help much with the heat. in the second... More

The bathroom could have been cleaner and there was no ac in the dorm. But i would definitely... More
