Highlights - The room was clean. Art is everywhere. Steve is beyond hospitable (could write a 5 page review just on him alone). His staff is friendly. Breakfasts are super delicious. Happy hour was a great time every night. Prices are reasonable. Walking distance from anything you want. Tips - Be sure to catch the tortuga laying eggs if it's...

One of the most overlooked activities on Isla Mujeres is the summertime turtle nesting season. We provide maps to our guests showing the best beaches to see these amazing creatures emerge from the sea and lay their eggs by moonlight. Sometimes, our guests are invited by the conservation staff to help collect the eggs (they feel kind of like fragile...

We were lucky enough to have Steve all to ourselves on our (too short) visit to Isla Mujeres, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Steve is the consummate host and knows how to make you feel taken care of. At Casa Sirena you'll have a quiet, cozy night's sleep, gourmet breakfast, cold beverages and hot coffee always available, and...

The complimentary "Sunset for the Fun Set" happy hour at Casa Sirena is often the highlight of the day for both the guests and the Innkeeper. The cocktails and conversation flow freely, creating a unique opportunity to enjoy the comaraderie of fellow travelers (and swap restaurant reviews!)

One of the wonderful things about Casa Sirena is that Steve never changes the parts that make the place great, but does constantly tweak around the edges to find ways to make this special place just that much more special. From Turkish beach towels (lighter and collect less sand than the lovely blue ones) to special events at happy hour...

We strive to find little ways to surprise our repeat guests. I am delighted you enjoyed the new "Happy Hour Artist Series" magic show and the rotating schedule of local musicians who perform for drinks and tips (Casa Sirena provides the drinks...) Just wait until you see the huge new mermaid mural in the rooftop bar!

"Sunset for the Fun Set" is the theme of our complimentary happy hour. Guests gather for refreshing margaritas and snacks to swap stories of the days' adventures and reviews of last night's restaurants. Our private rooftop bar is unique in Isla Mujeres!

This was part 1 of our 25th anniversary trip. We have been to Isla 30+ times but this was our first time at Casa Sirena. The detail and care that Steve puts into your visit is beyond compare. The rooms are immaculate. The design of the whole place is incredible. The breakfast is wonderful. I can't say enough. Beach bags,...

I am delighted you found Casa Sirena after so many visits to Isla Mujeres! The hotel is a bit off the "beaten track" of mass-market tourism, and we prefer it that way. We look forward to an opportunity to host your next anniversary!

We stayed a full week at this boutique hotel and it was absolutely marvelous. Everywhere you turn, it's like a tableau put together by an interior designer. Splashing in the little plunge pools in the courtyard and on the roof was a perfect way to cool off during the day. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. The full breakfast every morning...

My idea of paradise includes fresh orange juice and good black coffee in the morning; a drink or two at the end of the day with interesting people; and a comfy room to escape to. This is what I want for myself, and this is what we provide for out guests!

Lodging options abound in Isla, and there is something for everyone. We found Casa Sirena to be the quintessential experience, blending the comforts and amenities of a hotel with the intimacy of a B&B. The refurbished house reflects authentic Mexico with beautiful tiling and artwork throughout, and the only six or so rooms are equally appointed. Located just off the...

I could not ask for better associates than Bev, Jose, and the wonderful staff who have been with the hotel for nine years. We love sharing the secrets of our lovely little island. This was my favorite place that I stayed in during 2 weeks traveling through the Yucatan which says a lot since I stayed in some great hotels/B&Bs. I have a soft spot for single travelers, as I try to escape to be by myself at least one week a year. Casa Sirena encourages social contact between guests, both at our common-table breakfast service and at the convivial happy hour at sunset. Glad your journey included a stay at Casa Sirena!

We stayed at Casa Sirena last week for 4 days with a group of 4 of us. Words can't even describe how much we loved our time at Casa Sirena. We came off the ferry dock and got assistance with our dive gear from a bicycle luggage helper. It was a short walk to Casa Sirena from here. Casa Sirena...
