This was a wonderful place to stay. We opted for this hotel in lieu of the bigger, fancier, all inclusive facilities on Cancun, and boy were we glad we did??!! The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and the swimming...More
I stayed two nights at this hotel on Isla Mujeres to see the whale sharks... which by the way were an absolutely amazing experience!!! On the other hand staying at this hotel did nothing to enhance my visit to the island. I already knew about...More
After 9 days in a hotel closer to Playa Norte, we stayed here for our last 3 days on the island. This hotel is more secluded and, therefore, quieter and even more relaxing. We enjoyed the pool area and the easy access to the small...More
Before I start, I'd like to say that I always read the reviews before booking anywhere to stay. I then somewhat discount the most negative and most positive as it seems the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. That being said, this review is...More

The rustic rooms are really "rustic", I would have no issues with them but they are really rustic, basically a cinder block room, no windows or view but cheap living. I just got back from Isla last night, we found a better place to rent golf carts. 800 pesos for 24 hours, roughly 40 usd per day, the office is in the lobby of hotel Konica on Juarez ave, a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You have to be there at 9am to get a cart as they sell out every day.
