The hotel is fantastic. The hotel staff is very professional and helpfull! I spent my 40th birthday in this hotel and i would recomend ot to everybody. The hotel is a bit far from the main village but it's so nice and cosy that you don't really want to leave.

I stayed here on my own for only 2 days after having stayed in centro for 3 days. I chose the hotel to be able to get a different sense of the island and escape the frat bars in town. It is the perfect choice for this. Located in the south if the island it's about a 20 minute golf...

We stayed here two nights in December. The view is amazing and if you just like to relax you should come here. We really enjoyed that you could have breakfast on the terrace (sandwich, coffee, juice and fruit included but they had more options for a little cost). The two things we didn't like was the bed and the shower....

We just returned from a 10 day stay on Isla Mujeres. The first 5 days we stayed in town on the north end. We enjoyed our stay there. The hotel was more expensive and I had higher expectations but when we moved south to the La Joya we found our perfect spot. The hotel just has a homey welcoming atmosphere....

This boutique hotel is truly wonderful. It only has 12 or so rooms that line a stone stairway down to the pool and then one last set of stairs to the sea. Each room has a big balcony/patio with a hammock! The views from each room are truly spectacular. We had a room on the pool level. It was large...

What a perfect place for travellers looking for a cozy, quaint and quiet alternative to those large, interchangeable all-inclusive hotels. La Joya is a small gem of a hotel, evocative of a B+B in its homey, welcoming and free-flowing atmosphere. The place is built on a small hill overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea. Rooms are separated by...

From the incredible sunsets over Cancun from or balcony, to the gracious host Oswaldo, to the incredible breakfasts brought up to our balcony, to the pool and the stairs down to the beach and ocean, this hotel was absolutely ideal. It is in a beautiful, quiet section of Isla Mujeres, close to the ruins at Punta Sur and protected reefs....

No request is too much to ask and is attended to immediately. The rooms are pristine with comfortable beds, colorful bathrooms and terraces with enchanting views. The location at the...

The rooms, pool, ocean views, outdoor seating areas and direct access to a great private waterfront all make this a wonderful resort, but what really set it apart was the incredible dedication of the hotel manager Oswaldo and the rest of the friendly staff. During my stay I needed to receive a critical document from home in a very short...

I hosted a yoga retreat last week at Hotel La Joya on Isla Mujeres. We booked the entire property (12 rooms) and stayed for 5 nights. We all loved it. I host retreats worldwide and have not only been coming to this island since 1980, but also lived here for 2 years -- this is a hidden gem. Part of...
