We booked a last minute trip over New Years and managed to find accommodation at Hotel D'Gomar. I had seen it many times while on Isla and this was the first time staying there. The price was very good ($45/night) and we stayed in a room with two double beds and a nice updated bathroom. The beds were a bit...

We booked one night stay with friends so all together we booked 3 rooms one king size bed Oceanview if you call it that and two standard rooms with two double beds. Rooms are very dated and the hotel was full of ants. We checked in left our overnight bags there so that we weren't carrying them around the Island...

Very bad management, this hotel was a big disappointment for me. Hotel Manager was difficult to approach after commenting on a very noisy party that occur at the Wi-Fi exterior area on first floor. Lack of night watch staff, and very noisy all day. This hotel is located right in front of the very busy ferry terminal arriving from Cancun,...

Once you leave the ferry, this budget hotel ( < US$50) is right across the street. If you are ok with noisy areas and you want to be close to restaurants, tourist shops, golf cart rentals, this little hotel might be good for you. It is about 5minutes walk from the public beach on the West side and about 15...

I've stayed here a few times over the past 5 years, it is conveniently located across from the ultramar ferry dock. There is free wifi, in the common areas, and a nice little lounge area on the second floor with a microwave and a few other amenities. The hotel may not be anything special, but it is nice enough, with...

we had the top floor, front room...very private and AWESOME VIEW! If you take your drinks up the stairs 2 more flights you are on a deck pretty much the highest point on the island take a panorama of the whole place. ( this deck is probably not supposed to be used, but hey!). Super clean ( of course )...

A smile or a little bit of politeness goes a long way. Not here, if you say buenos Dias or hola you get no response from the reception staff apart from blank stares. The rooms are fine and the bathrooms are very nice (tiny TVs) but are expensive for 55 bucks and far too pricey for the 65 dollar room...

Thank you Frank and team for the excellent stay and hospitality. I hope to be back some day. I have fond memories of the cute little coffee room, with complimentary coffee, tea, hot & cold water, fridge, dishes, and a partial open-air concept (with roof). It was very relaxing. The shower worked well and there were nice facilities. Just let...

For the most part, Hotel D'Gomar got very good reviews, so we booked a room for 3 nights. When we arrived, we were a little disappointed when we saw the hotel's location and rooms. For some reason, I thought the hotel was located on a side street near the main street, but it is definitely right on the most trafficked...
