We stayed at Hotel Carmelina for three nights. Expect the basics here but done well - it's a pretty inexpensive deal, so bathrooms ARE clean, but aren't perhaps what you'd hope for in terms of being new. TV and aircon all worked well. We thought the location was great - well out of the way of the main tourist strip...

We have stayed at this motel/ hotel a couple times. Lucy, the owner is a great lady and made us feel at home the first time we went there. All the rooms are entered from outside. Our room was small. There are bigger rooms but there was only the 2 of us. Our room had one double bed, a/c, sm...

I don't recommend this hotel. I stayed there because it was very cheap but actually there are hotels in the area that are much better at the same price. Room smelled of sewage, there was intermittent noise of an air conditioning unit on the roof or on the roof of the building next door and the electrical outlet was broken....

Clean and colourful double 1 bed room with much needed working air conditioning! We stayed 3 nights in Carmelina Hotel and found its location to be very convenient... centre of town, everything you need/want is a stone throw away, great laundry next door and they also hire out bicycles. We walked from and to the ferry jetty. We also felt...

Stayed 3 nights and it was lovely . Cheap rooms and great value ! We changed rooms after our first night as we just wanted one bed and it was very very nice. The lady only speaks spanish but easy to communicate with. Shes very lovely. Bit noisey by the road and in morning but you cant really help that....

For about 31.00 USD, this is hard to beat. You're downtown, not too noisy unless you're a light sleeper. Small in space, GREAT water pressure, decent amount of hot water. The only negative to me was my Ray Ban sunglasses went missing while here, but you do need to take care of your own stuff....Recommended overall..

We wanted cheap and clean, and thats what we got! Its walking distance to everything downtown and the bed was sooo comfortable! The owners were so nice and were sad we were leaving. I recommend this hotel if you want to save money on lodging. Cant wait to go back!
