I'm not usually good about writing reviews but just had to write one for Ventanas al Mar. First things first - if you are a partier or love the bustle of town in a high-end resort then this is not the place for you. If you love to relax, get away from the commotion of town than you will love...

This place was even better than anticipated (if that's even possible)! Let me tell you . . . pictures do not do it justice! At least not the ones I take. My camera just could not capture the incredible bright blue of the water I saw from my balcony every day. We have never had a room so close to...

We had never stayed here before so we were a little nervous but we were SO happy with our stay! We loved everything about this place. Our room had an incredible view, the roar of the ocean was loud but breathtaking. The staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic and incredibly reasonable. We ate there 4 out of the...

The location sells this hotel. You have a beautiful stretch of beach with few people on it, which is a nice change from Playa del Carmen and the other side of Cozumel. Rooms are a little dated, minimal, and with few amenities, but all have a view of the ocean and you hear the waves crashing when you head to...

This is a quiet, remote place on the opposite side of the island from the main tourist area. If you stay here, rent a car to get to it and around the island. If you want quiet and secluded with few amenities, this is your place. If not, look elsewhere. This is not luxury but rather low key. We had...

The hotel is located at a breathtaking beach and you have a view to the ocean in every room! The rooms need renovation (that's why we gave 4 stars ) The staff is very nice and helpfull! The Restaurant is one of the Best of the whole Island! Totally underrated! You should definitely eat here! And crazy good prices! We...

We stayed one night in a master suite duplex. Was a bit difficult to spot but there are only so many places on that side so if you think you see it, it probably is it. Service wise, very basic so don't expect a lot we didn't have a lot of interaction checking in etc. The spiral staircase can be...

I had a great stay at Ventanas al Mar, just left today and wanted to write a review right away. The location is great, only hotel on the east side of the island, very quiet. It's a small, intimate hotel and every room has an excellent ocean view. The free breakfasts were great, the staff was friendly and the bed...

We had a great time here, excellent place to star gaze and enjoy the strong ocean breezes at night. A great romantic getaway or a fun place to play with the kids. Bring your own snacks at nighttime if you need anything you have to o back to town. Will definitely return!
