We like off the beaten path/ adventurous vacations. Dan, the owner of this casita hotel is a generous, friendly host who enjoys providing his guests with recommendations and tips for your trip. He's gifted at reading his guests , from what I could tell. The staff is superb. Daniel is there to ensure you are looked after with drinks and...

Could not have found a better place to stay for my week of diving in Cozumel, thanks to the advice of Trip Advisor friends. Their reviews were bang on!! Taxi is so cheap, being close to the airport was actually an advantage. The efforts Daniel, Arthuro and Jolie take to make your trip mémorable cannot remain unnoticed! Do not hesitate...

Awesome!...........if only one word was allowed to describe our stay here! This is only a 8 room hotel located in an authentic Cozumel neighbourhood. The property is very quaint and clean, and the staff is full of local knowledge to help with your exploring. And explore we did! We rented bicycles from Dan, the owner, and made this our principle...

Can't say enough about Dan and his lovely staff at Casita de Maya. Visited in November with the family during Thanksgiving break, while my husband Scott competed in the Ironman triathlon race. Our two college-aged kids stayed in an adjoining suite. Lovely grounds with a lap pool and lush surroundings. A chef is on site to prepare your breakfast and/or...

This was the third trip to this island and the lovely Casita de Maya, and it just keeps getting better. As many have said Dan is the ultimate host, he can direct you to amazing restaurants (within walking distance), introduce you to a private tour guide that will take you to what you want to see, and to the right...

This was my third trip to Cozumel staying at Casita de Maya. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing, quiet place to stay this is it. Within walking distance of this hotel are several magnificent local restaurants and bars, that do not get flooded by the daily influx of 2,000 plus cruise ship passengers visiting the island. If you...

If loud music, obnoxious crowds, bad food, terrible service and misery is what you have in mind while in Cozumel this is NOT THAT PLACE!!! Dan (the owner) what a great owner/host, from the minute we arrived until a tearful goodbye one of the best...
