We had planned our special 5-week tour of Mexico many months before and decided to splash out over Christmas by booking the penthouse apartment on the roof terrace of this hotel. From the photos it looked fantastic. So we were willing to pay almost 300 US dollars per night (1795 in total for 6 nights) to pamper ourselves over the...

We arrived here full of excitement to spend Xmas Day in what we thought was going to be the beautiful Penthouse apartment. We had unfortunately booked for 6 nights. No wifi, no hot water, the place hadn't been cleaned properly, electrical wires and fittings hanging out of the walls in the lounge and kitchen, no safety box, nowhere to hang...

I loved the location and the decor of this quaint hotel. It is very close to the main square. The decor is colorful and unique. Room was clean, bed conformable. The bathroom was small but had a spacious shower. On the third floor water took a while to become warm. How about a circulating pump to avoid water waste? I...

Fabulous service and beautiful room! Well located for a close walk to the main square, without the noise. The breakfast was magnificent, truly. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Cozumel.

This is a bit of an old review as I stayed in May 2016, but this was a lovely place so am adding my review eventually! Hotel is well located - not too far from any shops, restaurants or dive shops. Taxis can be picked up along the front, a minute or so away. Rooms were clean and a good...

Thanks for your late review! We appreciate your comments and I will pass along to our staff. Just so you know, we are working on getting a pool in this year, most likely during the slow period. We hope you have a chance to stay with us again! Best Wishes Thomas Fryer Flamingo Hotel tom@hotelflamingo.com

Stayed in this hotel for 8 days with a friend. It was great for our needs. Location is good, in town and only a 3-5 min walk from the pier. Quiet and loads of nice restaurants nearby. I'd highly recommend Maple Bakery next door for great coffee, pastries and sandwiches. Also Guido round the corner is a lovely but pricey...

I stayed in the Flamigo for eight days in early September 2016. Location is good - close enough to ferry, restaurants and dive shops but far enough away to be just a little secluded. The hotel is safe, comfortable, clean and reasonably quiet with nice lounge areas on each floor, a sun deck on top and a breakfast area on...

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We are glad your enjoyed your stay with us. September is a very humid period. I am not sure which room you had but we recently replaced two older AC units that had issues with performance and I am guessing you were in one of those rooms. We are doing some replacement of...

I stayed at the Flamingo at the end of April 2016 with my boyfriend. It's a small and quiet hotel not far from downtown. Oscar was very helpful telling us some points of interest and always very personable. He made me laugh everyday :) Elizabeth (the housekeeper/ breakfast server) was great as well. Kept our room very clean and our...

The Flamingo Hotel was absolutely delightful. It is located just blocks from the ferry and Benito Juarez square. The hotel reminded me a Spanish style hacienda surrounding a quiet, peaceful courtyard. Breakfast is included and made to order. Highly recommend the coconut French toast! Oscar, the desk clerk, was absolutely charming. He gave great recommendations on dining places and was...
